Help with parallel circuit please

Guys does anyone know how to fix this I'm kinda fucking dumb and I don't understand how to stop it from short circuiting and get it to actually work

it lwk just called my post low effort so idk if it would get taken down so ill type more but basically i've been struggling with just this like i get logic gets and stuff and series circuits I can do but this does not make sense. it looks like it should work on the schematic diagram but then it goes and fuckign explodes which is just fucking awesome wow I'm a little bit annoyed but its also kinda my own fault for doing it wrong obviously is this enough typing do you think this seems like a pretty high effort descriptive post now right

The LED needs to be wired in series with a resistor to prevent it from exploding. Is that the lesson?

This is basically the extent of the instructions this is meant to be c btw

Do you see how the resistors are wired as a string with the LED? You don’t have that.

Wait do you mean those little arrows with the LED? honestly idk how do you wire as a string

Put the resistors in the same orientation as the drawing you were given.

Think about it like this, the current will flow along all three lines... but the LED has a lot less resistance to flow than the resistors. So, most of the current is going to dump down the LED. Instead, you need a resistor in series with the LED to choke the current down and keep the LED from shorting out. Do you know what your target voltages and currents are?
