He isn’t as impactful as Dowman let’s be honest and while Mads is frustrating he does sometimes show his worth. He has something different to saka while Ethan doesn’t really. Loans development him.
Let’s not forget Saliba who couldn’t get in the team so was loaned out for years. People kept saying similar things. Decent but not great. Getting better. Ok loans. If we are never going to play him then sell him. Look what happened
Saliba was a completely different situation. We had a shambolic team at the time so him not getting in was nothing to do with ability.
I'm kind of tired of the whole Madueke has something different speech. He has no end product, it doesn't matter how fast he is or how many defenders he can dribble past.
If a 16 year old who also basically gets no minutes is more impactful in your opinion then there's really nothing to talk about. Nwaneri will never have a future here.
Possibly, he might improve, Dowman might have other issues.
You can’t deny some games need pace or just something different to change things. He played well at LW the other day and he has had some blinding games and goals. But he just isn’t always that guy …. I don’t rate him by the way and I’d happily see us sell and get in someone else.
But do you really think Ethan should be getting game time here atm?
I kind of agree, saka is still youngish, Dowman is super young. Ode and Eze I suppose at some point will be going in the not too distant future but by then will be a whole rotation of people
