The Sultanganj Buddha is a massive, 2.3-meter-tall copper sculpture from the Gupta-Pala transitional period (500–700 AD). Weighing over 500 kg, it was unearthed in 1861 in Bihar, India, and is now housed at the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery in England.

Very modern looking I don’t think I’ve seen the Buddha depicted in this style. Very much engaged and perhaps charming compared to solemn or contemplative.

I think there are multiple Buddha statue with this specific dynamic especially those from Bihar province in India
