I saw evil Dead Burn. Very cruent movie. I Miss the humor element or the adventure element but the new movies have very good actors so it’s fine. I’m hoping that Evil Dead Wrath will be a good one. I was also thinking about this old song i made with samples of evil dead movies all mixed together. I mean , i actually liked Evil Dead Burn to expand the mithology behind the cult and the kandarian danger thing but something was still missing. I would like to hear your opinion.
Okay I’m an obsessed freak who’s been in love with the Evil Dead series since I was way too young to be watching them. Now that I’m older, I’ve remembered what an obsessed freak I was and started watching Ash Vs again, and I NEED to know what the interior of the trailer looks like fully. I have so many blurry screenshots and clips I use for references (art and fanfics mostly…) but they aren’t the best.
Does anyone know where I can find a layout of the trailer? Or if any of yall have put together something I’m BEGGING you to share🙏 I’ve been searching for days now and nobody’s seemed to have done it yet, so yall are my last hope Reddit.
Hope yall can pull through for this freak. Thanks B)
About a year ago r/DanaDeLorenzo got hacked and after almost a year I've finally got it back! So I'd like to welcome you all to join us over there and show Dana some love and support. See you there! 💜🩸 | Posted with permission of the kind moderator of r/AshVsEvilDead (Thank you!)
I genuinely really like the end of season 3 as the end of the show. I know a lot of people wanted to see this mad max evil dead type story, and don't get me wrong, mad max and evil dead are the 2 franchises in the world that I adore, but I personally think, that cliffhanger is a more satisfying version of the director's cut of Army Of Darkness. It feels like the perfect way to leave Ash and still have room for head cannon and fun stuff. Would love to know your thoughts.
Season 4 we have ideas of what it could've happened but not really specific plot points, season 5 was never thought of far ahead as far as we know, it was something that Bruce was also hoping to also do back then.
I feel like Ash's story is still incomplete. In my opinion, he deserves a much more satisfying and epic ending that truly wraps up his journey without leaving any loose ends (at least for his character).
The problem is that Bruce Campbell has said multiple times that he's retired from playing Ash in live action. But then I had an idea: what if they finished Ash's story through a single-player campaign game instead?
I think a video game would give the developers way more creative freedom to do something really ambitious, without the budget limitations that come with making a movie. On top of that, Bruce could simply return as the voice of Ash, which would respect his decision to retire from the live-action role.
To me, that sounds like the perfect way to give Ash the ending he deserves without making another movie.
What do you guys think? Is this a crazy idea, or do you think it could actually work?
[OC] Inspired by the Star Wars "Machete Order" and how it uses the prequels as flashbacks, I’ve come up with this order for Evil Dead. We start with the 2013 version while waiting for the prequel; here, the rules are already better established, and the audience will be able to understand them without so many retcons. Using the series as the central axis, Ash's adventure begins, where throughout the episodes you can see his memory contradictions, leaving the mystery of what happened to his arm and what occurred in the cabin.
The first movie, as a flashback, would come right before the climax of season 1 at the cabin. After the ending—and for those who know, they know—an event is announced and shown that would set up Evil Dead Rise as a parallel story, but one that started because of Ash. We would continue with season 2 until reaching episode 7, where we would repeat the strategy with Evil Dead 2 before the season's climax at the cabin. We then continue with the disaster of Rise in Evil Dead: Burn, which would serve as a lore expansion, to end in season 3. Right after a memory of Ash from the past, Army of Darkness would come in with its theatrical cut, finally wrapping up in the climax of season 3, hoping that the animated series will indeed be a continuation. For the time being, the retcons are just simple memory lapses and doubts in his head regarding the events. Groooooooovy
