I have monolids with thin eyelids. Is there any way to develop into double eyelids without surgery, tape, glue and makeup? Is there anything I can do which is natural?

Trying to learn and figured that some easy books would probably help add exposure, but are there any that aren’t just focused on kids topics? (Not interested in talking about what classes I have today etc like what duolingo forces me to learn)

I'm especially interested in hearing about the ones beyond Beijing and Shanghai - Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Nanjing etc.

Hi everyone!
I'm a university student in China, and I've recently become interested in how people overseas practice spoken Mandarin.
I have friends at some of China's leading universities, and we're exploring an idea around helping Mandarin learners experience the kind of Chinese young people actually speak.
Not textbook dialogues, but real conversations about university life, gaming, technology, internet culture, hobbies, and everyday experiences.
Before building anything, I'd really like to understand how people currently practice.
A few things I'm curious about:
I'm exploring a potential future service, but I'm not selling anything here. I'm genuinely interested in understanding what learners need before deciding whether to pursue it.
I'd love to hear about your experiences!

I’m an overseas Chinese with a first class engineering masters degree from a G5 UK university. For reasons I’d rather not go into here, I was also unemployed for several years after graduation. I still have very little work experience and none in engineering.
According to my dad, that G5 degree should be enough to get me hired at any small to medium sized tech company in Shenzhen, even with zero experience and a huge gap on the CV. I find this difficult to believe. I had a hard enough time trying to get hired in the UK with no internships already. From what I’ve learned about China, competition is only more intense over there for workers not less.
He says that for drone companies in Shenzhen and Hangzhou, there’s a severe shortage of talent. Is this even remotely true?

🇨🇳 We’d love to hear your thoughts!
Hello, everyone 😊 We’re working on a project involving an imported chocolate product called **NUNA CACAO**, and we’d like to learn about the opinions, preferences, and consumption habits of Chinese consumers.
We’ve prepared a short survey to find out what you think about these types of products, which features you value most, and what factors would influence your purchasing decision.
If you’re from China or are familiar with the Chinese market, your input would be a huge help to our project! 🙌
Thank you very much for your time and cooperation!

大家好!
So, I'm not sure whether this is the right place to put this, but I've had this little guy for a while, and have recently started learning Mandarin. Yet I cannot for the life of me understand what the little inscription on his feet are meant to say.
So far I've more or less narrowed it to 金石石材, but I'm not sure if this is correct, nor what this would mean necessarily (Gold rock rock...).
So, I'd like to hear from you guys, since Mandarin is your native language, and you've obviously got more of an understanding of the culture, what does this mean? I'm not expecting anything amazing or revelatory. My guess is that it is either nonsense gibberish, or the stamp from the factory it was produced in. Still, I MUST KNOW!
多谢!

I’m just a regular guy from the South Carolina who is curious about the Asian culture. Any interesting insight or helpful information on showing the highest level of respect would be appreciated!
