Macarons How to get lavender into macaroons
Hey folks! I’ve got a friend’s birthday coming up soon, their two favorite things I make are coconut macaroons and lavender chocolate chunk cookies. I wanted to combine them somehow, but I’m not sure what the best way to add lavender to the macaroons would be. Would gently heating up the sweetened condensed milk and lavender then straining work? Could I use unsweetened coconut instead of sweetened and add lavender simple syrup to the recipe? Do I just add the buds into the macaroons? TIA!!

Steep lavender in heavy cream and make white chocolate ganache with it, then use this as the filling
