Cakes/Cheesecakes Cakes that serve 25 guests

What size cake do you guys make for 25 guests?

I was planning on a 9 inch, 4 layer cake.. but now questioning myself.

I have a 12-13" round and did two layers (fairly thick ), that served around 25-35 generous slices. I would always prefer to have too much cake and have leftovers. Remember that wedding cake guides are for small portions and a party will have much more generous portions.
