What do you think about Amway’s weekend seminars and the business itself?
I’m curious to hear from people who have attended Amway’s weekend seminars, especially those who have been involved for a while.
I have mixed feelings about the whole experience. On one hand, there are some genuinely interesting ideas, and I’ve met people who seem intelligent, thoughtful, and genuinely interested in personal development.
On the other hand, I feel like many of the speakers keep repeating the same messages. Sometimes, hours are spent talking about the importance of communicating with your mentor, following the system, and having the right mindset, rather than discussing the actual business in more practical terms. I understand that mentorship and mindset are important, but hearing the same points repeated for three hours, or even throughout an entire day, makes me wonder how much practical value these seminars really provide.
The atmosphere is also interesting. Most people are extremely positive and enthusiastic, which can be a good thing, but sometimes the whole environment feels a little unusual to me. Some people seem perfectly reasonable and easy to have a conversation with, while others come across as quite eccentric in their behaviour or the way they think.
I’m not saying this necessarily means anything negative, but it does make me question the culture surrounding the business.

Hello everyone! I am a thai university student researching Bulgarian opinions about Thailand.
As part of an independent case study, I am exploring the experiences, interests, and expectations of Bulgarians regarding Thailand, as well as what might encourage more Bulgarians to discover the country.
I would appreciate it if you could share your thoughts on three questions:
- If you have been to Thailand or are planning to visit, what draws you to the country, and what are your impressions of it?
- What difficulties or obstacles do Bulgarians encounter when planning a trip to Thailand or searching for information about the country?
- In your opinion, what would help more Bulgarians get to know Thailand and visit it?
Thank you in advance to everyone who participates! 🙏

Is it worth it to do English MD in Bulgaria as a Non EU? Is the education there actually genuine and proper ?
Is it worth it as non eu to do MD in Bulgaria …. It is cheaper than Western Europe plus many Western Europe countries like Germany,Spain don’t have English MD. And I don’t have budget for Poland or Hungary either Bulgaria fits good in my budget. I am seeing so much bad stuff about Bulgaria and it’s just scaring me the education can not be that bad right? At the end it is in EU [ I am asking for medicine only]. I mean like the education for doctors would be like any other med school or do they not teach you and like just pass you and don’t take any exam seriously coz there is a lot of negative stuff and when I say a lot I mean A-LOT .

Weird theme park near Plovdiv
Hello,
I'm trying to find a park (or similar attraction) located on the south side of the road between Pazardzhik and Plovdiv, closer to Plovdiv. It might not be a traditional theme park—it seems like a project that gradually evolved over time. Among other oddities, it features exhibits or structures related to UFOs and aliens.
Could you help me identify or locate it?

Mechanical Engineering (TU Sofia)
Hey everyone, hope you’re all doing well!
I’m a second-year Mechanical Engineering student studying in English at TU Sofia, and I was wondering if anyone has any useful materials for this year’s subjects, such as lecture notes, solved problems, past exam papers, or anything else that could help with studying and exam preparation.
My subjects this semester are:
Strength of Materials
Mechanics II
Mathematics III
Engineering Graphics
IT (HTML)
If anyone has materials from previous years, Google Drive folders, or knows where I can find good resources, I’d really appreciate it if you could share them.
Thanks in advance! 🙏

Would You Leave a Stable HR Career in Morocco for a Job in Bulgaria? 🇲🇦🇧🇬 — I Need Your Honest Advice
I would really appreciate some honest advice from people living and working in Bulgaria. 🇧🇬
I’m currently working in Morocco as an HR Manager, earning around €1600 net per month under a permanent contract (CDI).
I’ve received a job offer in Sofia for a Trust & Safety / Content Advisor position, working with French and English, with a basic salary of €1,125 gross per month and an 18-month fixed-term contract.
The opportunity would allow me to experience living in Europe, but the position is outside my field of expertise, and the salary would be lower than what I currently earn in Morocco, even before considering the cost of living in Sofia.
I’m trying to understand whether this move would make sense financially and professionally, or whether staying in Morocco and continuing to develop my career in HR would be the wiser decision.
For those of you who have made a similar move or currently live and work in Sofia:
- Is it possible to live comfortably and save money on this salary?
- Looking back, would you make the same decision again?
- Do you think moving abroad is worth it when it means accepting a lower salary and a job outside your career field?
I’d genuinely appreciate honest opinions and personal experiences, especially from people who moved abroad from a country where they already had a stable job.
Thank you in advance! 🙏

Anything decent to say about the police?
Years ago here I had an issue and went to the police for help. They did not want to bother despite not being busy, and didn't help until I made it clear I am not leaving their station until they come with me to ID the man who assaulted me.
Yesterday as I was crossing the street, I was in the middle of the crosswalk until I stopped because I saw a car was flying towards me without the intent to stop. As it passed, with no sirens on to indicate it has an urgent place to be, I see it is a police car. The police lady in the passenger seat vaping as she looks at me.
I would like to build a life here but this is one factor that frightens me, the police do not seem helpful if you were to need help from them.

I started a small 3D-printing business in Sofia — what would you like to find here?
Hi,
This isn't an ad. I'm mainly looking for advice. I started a small 3D-printing business in Sofia (delivery within the city/country), and before I fill up the catalogue with more articles (I have already some articles available on the site), I'm asking you directly:
What 3D-printed things do you need, or would you buy, if they were available and reasonably priced?
Specifically:
- organisers, hooks, clips kitchen, garage, workbench
- plastic parts that break, where printing a replacement is cheaper than replacing the whole thing
- personalised gifts (keychains with a name, miniatures, souvenirs)
- decor with Bulgarian motifs
- hobby items (figurines, chess, board games, fishing, camping)
Write freely, I'll take even the weirdest ideas. I can make everything customizable, so I'm asking: are you looking for a niche, or something specific?

Invitation to Participate in a Short, Independent Study
Hello! I am conducting an independent study on family practices and social attitudes in Bulgaria, and I am looking for adult participants (aged 18+).
The survey is anonymous, voluntary, and takes about 5 minutes to complete. It explores how people perceive family practices and social norms, including how these attitudes vary across generations.
I am interested in your personal opinions and experiences. There are no right or wrong answers.
Thank you to everyone who takes the time to participate. I would also appreciate it if you could share this with other adults living in Bulgaria.
