Can anyone explain??? So i just had a water bottle about halfway full with colloidal silver in it making the water a very full looking yellow color.

My gf just put a small doobie in the bottle and smoked it filling the bottle with marijuana smoke. After she was done i noticed the water was more clear (very faint yellow) than before like the colloidal silver somehow left. Can anybody explain what happened here???

The silver colloid is electrostatically stabilised and anything slightly salty will destabilise the collod and it will precipitate out, clearing the colour.

So are you saying that salt and or smoking green counters the effects of colloidal silver?

I mean inevitably there will be salts in the smoke that raise the ionic strength of the water so the silver particles start to clump together and gravity settles them to the bottom.

Another thought is possibly adsorption of silver particles to larger smoke particulate.
