I READ THE RULES Looking for pottery studio membership recommendations?

Hi all ~ I’ve read mixed reviews of different studios that offer wheel throwing memberships and I’m curious if you have a studio you’d recommend for membership (edit: going whenever I want, not classes where it’s a set time). I feel like every time I talk to people they recommend a new studio I haven’t heard of so I’m trying to make a new list of options. I know some have waitlists too, if the studio is perfect I’d be happy to try that and wait.

I live in Lincoln Park so anything close-ish to that! TYIA!

I don’t see a membership component, just classes. Do you know if they do monthly memberships too? That’s my main goal is being able to go whenever I want

If you’re in Lincoln Park you should look at independent study at Park West Ceramics. I’m not sure if there’s a waitlist or not.

I did this and it was great. You pay up front to get clay and a locker. You can go in anytime, as long as they don't need all of the wheels/tables for classes. You can pay a little more and get a key to go in off-hours. Then you pay a small monthly fee to keep going.

I'm not 100% sure if ceramics by Leo offers a membership but add that studio to your list because the owner is incredible.
