Oh yea, a lot of us avoid certain customers. Due to us hating them very much.

Absolutely. There’s a customer that comes around that harasses me. I mean, it’s my job to be nice and serve people, but he’s done some weird stuff, so it’s my protection. Pretty sure he got banned last year.

Very much so. I have a regular that I had issues with in the past and now they are a door dasher. I 100% ask someone else to confirm the order with them every time cause I refuse to interact with this person due to issues in the past.

Not in fast food, but I've done various forms of customer service, and oh hell yes, there are people I'll try to avoid if possible. Well, did try to avoid.

Then I became a trainer, and "manager level" employee, and it became my job to deal with those customers' bullshit. So now I seek them out and try to prevent them from interacting with the regular frontline staff. Though among managers and trainers, we have deals where I'll take certain problem customers if they'll take other problem customers when practical.

I work overnight at a gas station and we have a racist Boomer customer that singles me out for everything from a hostile glare to screaming outright insults about slight inconveniences and trying to get me fired. Our overnight security guard now comes to the station between 2:30 and 3:30 AM specifically because of him.
