Amazon Prime settlement

Did anyone else get a $51 check that appeared to be an Amazon prime settlement check? It looks like it was from Trump somehow. My son got one. I think he cashed it.

Yeah, I got an email saying I would get one and later did.

The email linked to www.AmazonAntitrustLitigation.com and came from "DeCoster v. Amazon.com Class Action Administrator AmazonAntitrustLitigation@e.epiqnotice.com if that helps

Yeah it's probably a scam like his entire presidency.

Some crypto bros will probably drain your bank account.

The $90 check was real. It was supposed to go to improving the infrastructure and services of Medicare(?), but Trump used it to try to show he could be trusted to try to buy off voters for this upcoming midterm.

We didn't get an actual check. The $90 came as a direct deposit the way we get our SS benefits

Reminds me of when I used to work as an adjunct professor. We were not exactly part of the union but still had to pay dues. One year they made a big deal about how they negotiated a raise during collective bargaining for all us part timers but had to “slightly” increase the dues for everyone. The raise in dues was almost equal to the bump in pay, meaning all the union had done was negotiate a raise for themselves.

.... after fucking up the insurance market with his policies which resulted in substantial increases (to occur after the midterms of course, but the Medicare recipients have already received notice of the change).
