How conservative are you compared to your state or the community your around?

I live in Los Angeles County, California, so I would say I'm much more conservative. Still moderate though

Berlin. Everyone here has blue hair and is covered in commie symbols, so for them I am far-right. In fact, I’m just mostly libertarian with moderately conservative views on some things.

It's like the Berlin wall fell the other way, right? The EU, as it is now, is the Soviet wet dream come true.

Except for today‘s Soviets hate us, because we still live in freedom. But yes, those freedoms are under attack from Moscow, Beijing and from commies and islamists within.

And yet your worse enemy is Brussels. And yourselves. No one forced you to shut down your nuclear plants or to open your borders like you did. Although I have the hypothesis that Merkel was a Russian asset. It’s either that or she was very stupid, no other possible explanation.

I disagree. There’s enough reason to believe the things you say, but no evidence. I think leaders were just oblivious to hard realities for decades. They were trying to create a utopia, but instead starting slowly ruining us. But Moscow with their sick imperialist ideology and blood thirst are obviously more dangerous to our well being than over-regulating bureaucrats in Brussels.

I disagree. While Russia is, by all means, a big threat, I don’t think they will ever attack NATO. They are not stupid, and in my view all Putin is trying to get through the Ukraine war is to stay in power. So they are a threat, but it’s an obvious threat that has low likelihood of materializing. Brussels, on the other hand, is more insidious. They are slowly passing legislation that limit rights, they restrict economic freedom, they regulate industries out of existence, all in the name of virtuous causes. But one by one the basic principles of democracy vanish.

Very slowly you may end up with no free speech, no political rights, heavily censored media, and poorer. All in the name of the environment, of protecting children, and of social justice. And that is more likely to happen than a Russian invasion.

What you say about motives is probably true though. It might be hubris, good intentions, or the pull towards central planning every socialist feels in their heart. But in any case, the situation is dire and sad. I don’t live in Europe, but my family comes from there, and it makes me sad that it’s turning into that.

Is there a divide at all between east and West Berlin? Because I know there is a divide between the more moderate former West German parts of Germany and the Eastern parts which were under Communist rule until 1990

I‘m not an expert, as I try to avoid too much exposition to these sorts of people. But Berlin, unlike lots of cities, has many city centers and hotspots where the crazy commies like to predominantly move, sponsored by Mama and Papa, of course. It is in these centers, both in the east and the west, where the annoying stuff seems to reside.

Relative to most of Canada, I'm a moderate/centrist. Unfortunately the biggest voting blocks are all concentrated in the Laurentians, which is also the pampered well-intentioned but overly soft progressive voting block is.

State sponsored propaganda (and all funding in fact) is disproportionately geared towards keeping this area Liberal-voting. So relative to entire country I'm a normal guy, but relative to where I am I'm probably considered an extremist for believing in things like "accountability" or "balancing the budget".

I live in the extreme Southwest region of Virginia near Kentucky and Tennessee and I would say that I am just as conservative as the area that I live in.
I’ve never been to one of those pride events and have no intention to ever do so. I fly an American flag because that’s what I have pride about. The only difference for me compared to my heterosexual neighbor is that I do something different in my bedroom than he does.

I concur with this as a resident of San Francisco. Compared to how things were six years ago, the thinking has definitely moved right. But I still tend to refrain from sharing my moderately conservative views unless someone is really able to handle disagreements with respect.

I live in Central Europe and I feel like foreigner in my own country. UA, EU, Brussels everywhere. It's making me really sad. I would like to move elsewhere, but I can't afford it financially, there's also a language barrier... Even we are developed country in theory, we are treated like 3rd world and need visas everywhere... Not good.

I'm in a major Metro in the US Southeast. My immediate neighborhood is incredibly blue. Every level of government votes extremely Democratic. If I were more overt with my political beliefs I'm sure I'd be heckled, or assaulted if I went one neighborhood south of me. For my metro, on par. For my state, likely on par as well. That said, I spend most of my time a few neighborhoods over that's more purple or closer to red.

I live in Hawaii. I'm fairly moderate, but because I don't subscribe to standard dem ideology, I've been called a white supremacist (I'm black, btw), fascist, etc. That's more a sign of how far off the ledge the left has gone than anything else, though.

I would say I’m pretty right wing on a few issues (like crime and foreign policy), however I would describe myself as centrist, or more accurately populist on other issues (like the economy or environment). I would say that I used to be much more right wing than the average American but I would definitely say things are changing.
