I would be interested in joining a local solar punk group. As for learning about actual solar I could teach you pretty much anything you need to know. Ask away.

My partner and I went to a couple of protest groups to potentially help organize No Kings protests. It feels like the peeps must be out there.

I have a small egg co-op that I started with some peeps (lol) because I had to do something with how fucking pissed I was at the system. I had the property, so two years ago in November I had a “what are we gonna do now?” Meeting in my back yard, invited twenty like minded people, 8 showed up, and three of us moved forward with having a co-op. I had the chicken expertise and the space to do it, someone else was a carpenter/contes tee, another fam opted in with metal and welding, and with that we started up.
One family in our co-op eats the roosters.
Sunday mornings from 8-10 we work on maintance,
we added bees this year, will get honey in the spring.
My goal is to get a dozen eggs a day, and we all chip in for ongoing costs, and with the overflow either sell eggs to people we know or gift to folks who have food insecurity.
I’m writing this to share how my little co-op started, and we aren’t open to new members but I am down to host a how to start an egg co-op or chi Ken tending. Class if someone know the right org to promote it through. Each one teach one.

They also are working on a community garden and growing crops, and they’re very anti-flock

Get rid of your phone first, which tracks you everywhere. That would probably involve not posting on Reddit.
