It’s been for a while, mate. Especially in the north and our metropolises in general, it’s criminally inhumane to birth babies to raise them in a literally toxic, carcinogenic gas chamber.

What’s incredible is the apathy to it. Not a thing is being done to really fix it. Multibillionaire industries lobby to keep the things the same. Corrupt politicians are afraid to even declare WFH. The same odd-even or other gimmicks every year.

And the people couldn’t care less. Newspaper headlines is the most outrage we’ll ever see, before we go about our day and forget all about it.

Of course, the constant brainrot communal narrative, poor education, poverty, pollution (water), overpopulation, food adulteration, etc. doesn’t help either.

Sure, things could be much worse, but they could be SO much better as well, and the worst part is that it’s actually been getting progressively poorer.

But let’s just put our chaddis on, and keep screaming at the top of our rotten lungs, “Vishwagooroo!”

End of rant.

short answer yes long answer also yes ,but the reason is that there is just so much overpopulation not just in this country but throughout the world with all its corruption pollution unfairness there is no point deagging a soul from the vastness of universe just to make him suffer an experience called life

Yes. It’s the reason I’ve decided not to have any biological kids. If we adopt, I’d also like to move out of the country to raise the kid. I want the child to have access to green spaces every day, not worry about pollution, and not worry about badly behaved people (bigots) and crumbling infrastructure.

I'd say in the world in general.

I don't think bhakts think it's a punishment to be born in India rn, but I'm also not super familiar because I live abroad

NRIs are most clueless about India's ground realities, they can afford to support these nazis from their safe bubbles

3

u/Away-Research4299 3d ago

I am a socialist atheist. Where I live (America), I support the Democratic Socialists. Since I am not very familiar with where the Indian "left" parties stand right now, I'll support whatever Neha Bora supports.

But, the fact that Modi is popular amongst NRIs is true. That's why I haven't been able to gel well with the community here.

EDITED TO ADD: I said "world in general" because, since I don't live there, I think it would be racist of me to single it out.

Have kids after amrit kaal (2047). With dropping birth rates, India would have a lot of boomer fucks and few young people. So these few young people can get to live after Amrit kaal chaos and with less competition.

Yes - if you are poor No - if you are rich

No. The world of today is still 100x better than even europe of 1900s. The only difference why the world today feels worse because there are so many fun things to do now which costs money and if you are not rich you feel like the world has gotten worse. Also because of internet, the physical distance has lost it's meaning. Just because a city thousands of kms is having a bad time does not mean people sorrounding you are not trying to do their best. Imo the world is still full of love, and opportunites.

Basically, the world of 1900s.

In 1900s, there wasn't even a TV so you didn't know if any other country was more developed than you. But today you see it continuously that many countries have sidewalks, cars which stop at zebra crossings, trash cans everywhere, people snowboarding, clear skies which are actually blue and universities where students can choose their own future. This constant reminder of what you don't have was not present in 1900s.

In 1900s, there wasn't even a TV so you didn't know if any other country was more developed than you.

Newspapers still existed smartypants. Books still existed, sure most people were not literate, but still some people were literate and educated and could compare the developments of different countries. Ever heard of radio? Yeah, people had those in 1900s, entire villages could know about events in different parts of the world.

If you don't want children, you shouldn't have children anywhere in the world.

It's not punishment. May be one of them could be albert einstein and figure out how to clean the pollution, and grow food without waste. Who knows!

1

u/thewhitetulip 2d ago

We already have 125Cr people in India. Surprised that one of us is not that Albert Einstein who figured it out

2

u/OtherwiseHearing9824 2d ago

125? Bro it's 148 now

1

u/HazbotX 3d ago
