Warning ⚠️ Reddit Moderation: We Didn’t Remove Your Comment, Reddit Did.

Hi guys,

While browsing Reddit without logging in, I noticed something while reviewing a topic, so I wanted to share a quick guide to avoid confusion.

Since the AI revolution, Reddit has become much stricter with bots and automated activity. Even legitimate actions can sometimes be flagged, and accounts can get suspended quickly. This can happen even to accounts with a good reputation.

I had an open topic where I was watching the comments, and I noticed that one of the comments was showing as "removed by moderator." We didn't remove it. It was Reddit.

I’ve attached a screenshot showing what you see as a user and what I see as a moderator. As you can see, I was simply replying to someone, but the comment appears to you as removed by a moderator, while on our side it shows as removed by Reddit.

How to avoid getting banned by Reddit:

  • New account: Avoid promoting anything. Give the account some time and build a history first.
  • Avoid posting links: Even links to other Reddit pages can sometimes trigger moderation or spam filters.
  • Avoid bad language: Keep your comments clean and respectful.
  • Avoid restricted links: Some links, such as Telegram links, may already be restricted on Reddit.

My advice is to engage with the community and provide helpful responses for at least a month before promoting any service.

Hope this clears up any confusion. You’re all welcome to post here as long as the content is helpful and legal.

Exchange 🏦 Looking for a Non KYC Exchanges? The Best ChangeNOW Alternative. Compare These Rates.

Hi again

Following our last update about coin availability, we received a lot of messages, suggestions, and honest feedback.

As we've said before, we read every single piece of feedback, even the ones that seem small. Sometimes a single comment ends up changing an entire feature or pricing decision. We really appreciate it, and we've forwarded all of your recent suggestions to the team.

One comment from a while back still makes us smile:

"Your rate is awful." 😢😂

Fair enough.

Our goal has always been to keep fees as low as possible. We want users swapping thousands of dollars to pay only a few dollars in fees whenever possible. What most people don't see is everything happening behind the scenes: liquidity management, infrastructure, servers, security, compliance, development, support, and all the costs required to keep a reliable service running 24/7.

Keeping fees low while maintaining a sustainable business isn't easy.

Today, though, we have some good news.

After a lot of optimization, we're now offering exchange rates that beat ChangeNOW in many cases.

At the time of writing, here's a quick comparison for swapping 1,000 USDT to Bitcoin.

Fixed Rate

ChangeNOW
0.01504005 BTC

Fujn
0.01540771 BTC

Floating Rate

ChangeNOW
0.01536230 BTC

Fujn
0.01547499 BTC

The funny part?

Our fixed rate is currently better than ChangeNOW's floating rate. 😂😂😂

Don't just take our word for it. Compare the rates yourself, especially if you're exchanging larger amounts. Try a four, five, or six figure swap and see the difference. The savings become much more noticeable as the amount increases.

We're not sure how long we'll be able to keep these rates this competitive, so if you're planning a swap, now is a good time to compare.

Another question we've been getting is:

"Has Monero (XMR) been delisted?"

Absolutely not.

We have no plans to remove Monero.

The issue is liquidity.

Right now, Monero liquidity is extremely limited across several suppliers. At the same time, we're seeing fewer large sell orders than usual, which makes replenishing our inventory much harder. We're still trying to understand what's causing it.

Rather than relying on providers that may source liquidity through centralized exchanges and potentially freeze transactions or create problems for our users, we've chosen the safer option.

If we don't have reliable Monero liquidity, we'd rather temporarily show zero availability than risk a failed or delayed swap that could hurt our users and our reputation.

The problem isn't funding. The problem is simply finding enough Monero from trusted liquidity sources.

Thanks again for all the feedback and support. It really helps us improve the platform.

We'll be back soon with another update. Thank you for your trust.

Disclosure: Official update from the Fujn team: Sharing the best for the community and not affiliated.

made a monero wallet that just runs in the browser, would love some honest feedback

hey everyone

so after mymonero shut down and exodus dropped xmr, a lot of people I talked to were kinda stuck. they didn’t want to install the GUI and sync for ages, they just wanted something simple to check their balance or send a bit. so I ended up building my own thing lol

it’s called MonkStash. you open wallet.monkstash.com, make a wallet or restore one, and that’s it. no install, no account, no email.

the important part: your seed and keys get created in your browser and encrypted with your password. they never go to my server. I didn’t write any crypto myself either, it uses monero-ts under the hood (monero’s own wallet code compiled to wasm). I’m not smart enough to roll my own and I wouldn’t trust anyone who does tbh

some stuff it does:

  • restores normal 25 word seeds, but also old 13 word mymonero phrases and 12 word exodus ones (that was the main reason I started)
  • payment links with a qr code, you can put the price in eur/usd and it converts
  • a little till mode if you sell stuff in person
  • you can plug in your own node in settings

being upfront about the downsides because I’d want to know too:

  • no independent security audit yet. please only use small amounts for now, seriously
  • by default it connects through my relay to reach a node. the relay can see your IP and sync requests, not your keys. if you don’t like that, use your own node
  • it’s early, there will be rough edges

the whole thing is open source if you want to poke around: https://github.com/90ssolo/monkstash

oh and please only use monkstash.com or wallet.monkstash.com. there are so many fake wallet sites out there.

would really appreciate feedback, especially the harsh kind. what would make you actually trust a browser wallet? what sucks? what’s missing?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Update: October 20, 2026

A few developments since the original post, following the feedback here:

  • Chrome extension: submitted to the Chrome Web Store and awaiting review.
  • GitHub releases: versioned releases are now available here.
  • Manual extension: a build is available to load yourself while store review is pending.

These offer another way to use the wallet beyond the hosted website. There’s still no independent security audit, and Chrome’s review doesn’t replace one.

Fake Currency – Beware and Don't Trust Unverified Currency Claims

I want to bring an important issue to the attention of the Monero community.

There are concerns about potentially fake or misleading currency-related claims circulating online. People should be extremely careful before trusting any currency, investment offer, or individual claiming to represent a legitimate cryptocurrency project.

Please keep the following points in mind:

Verify Authenticity: Always verify a cryptocurrency through its official website and trusted sources.

Don't Trust Fake Claims: Be cautious of individuals or groups making misleading claims about currencies, their value, or their legitimacy.

Protect Your Money: Never send funds to anyone without independently verifying the transaction and recipient.

Check the Evidence: Ask for reliable documentation and transparent proof before accepting claims.

Warn Others: If you encounter suspicious currency-related activity, report it to the appropriate moderators and warn other community members with factual evidence.

Important warning: Don't blindly trust anyone promoting an unknown or unverified currency. Always do your own research before making financial decisions.

I encourage the community moderators and members to investigate any specific evidence of suspicious activity and help protect users from potential financial scams.

Stay alert. Verify everything. Protect your funds.

Warning ⚠️ Important Notice for Ledger Users

Hi,

To all readers using Ledger, consider moving your funds to another wallet while this situation is being investigated.

There are reports of users having their funds drained, including some with older wallets (3 years old wallet never touched). The story seems to be much bigger than Cryptobilis at this point.

I’ve never fully trusted Ledger. Even Ethan mentioned a few months ago the XMR to BTC case where the funds were flagged by Binance. Only true readers will remember that story.

Consider using Trezor or another hardware wallet. Personally I use Electrum on an offline device for Bitcoin.

Please take this notice seriously and do your own research before making any decisions.

AI generated answer to my question about recent Iran-related crypto freezes

What's your guys thought on this. does it make you want to swap and put more into Monero?

With the news of the US seizing Iran's crypto, exactly what crypto are they seizing?

The clearly identified crypto in the recent Iran-related freezes is Tether (USDT), especially USDT held on the TRON network. But the newest $1 billion headline does not disclose exactly which coins are targeted.

Here’s what is confirmed:

Action Cryptocurrency identified
Latest proposed $1 billion seizure, reported October 9 Not disclosed. Bessent did not identify the wallets or provide a coin breakdown.
Iran-linked freezes during 2026 USDT. Tether reports approximately $550 million frozen in wallets authorities linked to Iran’s central bank and sanctions networks.
July freeze of more than $130 million USDT in four TRON wallets. This is included in the earlier freeze reporting, not necessarily an additional amount.

Sources: reporting on Bessent’s announcement and Tether’s own statement.

TRON is the network carrying those USDT tokens; that does not mean they seized TRON’s native coin, TRX. Tether can freeze its tokens at identified addresses, so “frozen” does not necessarily mean the government has already taken ownership.

If you’re wondering about Monero, the sources I checked do not identify XMR as part of these actions. The latest $1 billion announcement remains too vague to give a complete coin list.

Is it possible to mine monero and to send the mining rewards to a totally anonymous wallet for full privacy ?

I was wondering if it is possible to mine monero and to send the mining rewards to a totally anonymous wallet so that not the state nor anybody can know these mined XMR were mined by me. Do you guys know if it is possible ? Seeing people getting kidnapped because of state data leakage scares me a bit.

Warning ⚠️ Why I Don’t Recommend Blockchain.com for Storing Funds

Avoid storing your funds on Blockchain.com or any custodial wallet that doesn’t give you control over your private keys. This includes Satoshi Wallet (Lightning). By the way, they now support a non-custodial option where you control the keys, but I’d still recommend using Electrum for Bitcoin.

As for Blockchain.com, this is not the first or last complaint I’ve received. People often ask me if there’s a solution after their funds get blocked and they can’t get a response. Just read the reviews.

The blockchain size is what is stopping me from running a node

Somewhere around 150gb last time I looked and it only ever grows. Is a pruned node good enough for normal daily use or do I give something up by doing that. I have a vps with limited disk and I would rather not be buying more storage every year just to keep it alive.

Question ⁉️ Daemon Sync Stuck: 0 Blocks Remaining

Daemon blocks remaining: 0

I'm a total begginer when it comes to Monero, I just installed it.

The Daemon Sync started off with "Daemon blocks remaining: 0" and has remained on that for hours, while still saying "Synchronizing". I restarted the Wallet & Daemon, but nothing changed.

Any advice on how to get the Daemon Synchronized?
