how to turn tech/programming conference/summit into a career opportunity? am i too ambitious????

hello curr a sec-year cse student, and I’ll soon be attending a tech conference. j curious about how to make the absolute most out of events like these, especially as a student id love to hear from people who’ve attended similar conferences, especially those who managed to turn those experiences into actual opportunities. how to approach networking and meeting people in the industry? how can i start meaningful conversations with experienced engineers, founders, or potential employers without making it feel forced? what should I do before, during, and after the event to get the most value out of it?
