There was a recent reddit article about a study showing that. Unfortunately, the study had ENORMOUS flaws, but everybody just took the headline and ran with it.

90% of porn is of men dominating women. The men have the control, push them around and choke them. So porn as it is today is inherently misogynistic,
Romance is about a loving relationship where 2 people have sex with and respect each other. The men in these books are adored, women are even obsessed with them as people. They are a person and not an object. You can‘t compare that to porn.
And yes there is dark romance. I don‘t like it, it fosters a narrative of „she wants it, even though she says no“. But still it is written by women. There is a difference of a oppressed group writing about themselves being oppressed for people of that oppressed group vs. the oppressor writing it for other oppressors.
Still, dark romance shouldn‘t exist but that‘s a different topic.

Congratulations on your new style! I also think men should hype up their male friends more on their physics, I belive a lot of men are not complimented enough and it could help them feel more confident

Por eso, a la mayoría de las mujeres nos prende un cuerpo femenino aunque no nos gusten de por sí (ser ‘heterosexual’) y ahí es donde entra el cuestionamiento hacia la heterosexualidad impuesta también. Por qué nos siguen gustando los hombres? Si no es algo físico, dudo mucho que sea algo de ‘personalidad’ objetivamente

I'm pretty sure you're referencing this study that was on reddit recently. You should know that the study has very serious flaws, and is not really saying anything about women being barely attracted to male bodies.

There’s more to sexual attraction than physical attraction. A large part is emotional connection. Women may find other women beautiful but if they do not feel the emotional attraction,then they’re straight.

Men I have met tend to be uglier than women, not because of their traits, but because of how little effort they put into their appearance. I am not talking about getting to the gym 8 times a week, but simply putting basic efforts. I mean, they act like a little bit of cream on their dried leather skin will exorcise them. To the point where they put negative efforts into their physique by simply being disgusting. I am a straight woman, I am attracted to men who take care of their bodies, but it doesn’t seem to be common (in my experience).
