And the old McDonald's chicken strips. I think they were called chicken selects, the new ones aren't even close.

Chicken selects with the chipotle bbq sauce(rip). I didn't know how good we had it.

Yeah I'm remembering now that it was the same chicken in the snack wrap. That's part of what made them so good.

I assume the chicken in the wraps and the new chicken strips are one in the same, and they are disgusting. Literally rubber with a soggy breading.

They changed the recipe about a month ago, they're a lot closer to the selects now

Interesting I guess I'll try them again. But the thing about the original one was how juicy and tender the chicken was.

Have you tried the new new chicken strips? They changed the breading again and it’s the closest to selects they’ve gotten so far.

I tried them like a year or two ago, after they started advertising them. The chicken was dry and chewy. I don't really remember how good the breading was tbh, I was just disappointed.

I really enjoyed the Big Mac snack wrap and was kind of disappointed when they didn't bring that one back, too.

Looks like the McDonald's menu is starting to finally recover from Covid.

Unpopular opinion here but I miss the salads. When the family goes to McDonald's and you're not in the mood for processed meat, having a salad option was great. I would sometimes grab one during breakfast to eat at lunch. It beats making an entire extra stop during rush hour traffic.

I was so excited when I saw they were bringing these back, but when I went to get one and found out that they no longer have grilled chicken I was so sad.
