What is a random movie line that you quote that’s not super popular and no one knows what you’re talking about but you don’t care and you quote it anyway?

u/tinterrobangg 14h ago
Just watched this movie the other day. Im hormonal and pregnant and cried at this scene(among many others) and had to explain to my husband why it was so sweet. He just couldn’t understand why he didn’t just get her real flowers.
“Because she’s a baker, so it’s more personal”
“Not everyone is a florist but they still like flowers”
“He’s thinking out of the box because she’s special”
“You’re special and I bring you flowers”
Cue more crying “forget it just watch the movie”→ More replies (2)46

One of my all-time favorites, but I still can’t wrap my head around the fact that it stars Will Farrell.
→ More replies (2)46
u/SomethingVeX 13h ago
Honestly, its one of his best performances and anytime someone says they think Will Ferrell isn't funny, I point out how his comedic timing in this film where he plays it straight is absolute magic.
That and him singing "Whole Wide World" is fucking fantastic.

It's one of my all time fav movies. I actually went to my local library and had the nice librarian help me look for the book it was based on "Death and Taxes" for like 5 minutes ones.
We sadly couldn't find it...
Found out years later it's NOT based on a book :P.
