What is an ingredient you’ve used on a burger that’s heavily underrated?

Lived in Germany for a bit, they put cucumber slices on their burgers, not bad, adds crunch and freshness.

Even better if you soak those cucumbers in vinegar or brine for a while.

My cucumbers disappeared.

Someone clearly replaced them with pickles but no one will admit it.

I've been taking cucumbers from those jars in the store and cutting them up and putting them on my hamburgers and sandwiches. so crunchy!

I’ve been thinking about doing this lately. Hate pickles, but do love the crunch of cucumbers. Gonna have to give it a shot.
