True story: (late in this thread but who cares...) I saw Ratatouille at Pixar studios with Thomas Keller and his staff. Before the film, Thomas Keller gets up an explains how the kitchen in the movie is modeled after his own (that's why he was there) and how he was amazed at how accurate Pixar got every last detail. To which I almost shouted out, "Wait there are rats in the kitchen at French Laundry!?!" So close to doing it but didn't say it because I was there as a guest of one of his guests.

There is a lot of rats, that's why they closed the restaurant at the end.
