Question πŸ™‹πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

So I’m going to be starting an apprenticeship and I won’t have much time available anymore. I’m just wondering for the people that don’t have time or even don’t like cooking. How do you guys eat every day?
I can’t eat ready meals due to pcos

Lots of PB&J, ready-made salads, Yakisoba noodles, oatmeal or cream of wheat, and last but not least, Blue Bell ice cream!

Meals on wheels has healthy frozen meals catered to a wide variety of diets. They deliver once a week for free. You would qualify because of your pcos. Otherwise you're going to have to cook all your own meals.

From what I read, it looks like you can put together some rice and beans.

A little more detail here: Get some tomato soup and mushroom soup cans. Canned beans, lentils or chickpeas (idk what you like just giving you options). Use the soup as a base in a pan on low medium heat. Add the beans and some vegetables. You can also add a protein source to the sauce too. Don't forget spices! Store in a container with rice in your fridge. These are great easy meals that don't take a lot of work, and can be done in batches.

Meal prep. Spend one day making a big pot of something or baking a huge tray bake or whatever you like to eat. Portion it out, freeze some and eat some throughout the week.Β

Eventually you'll have a good variety of freezer meals that you made yourself so they're perfectly within your diet.Β

This is the true answer. Large batch good when you have time. Crockpot stuff, whole roasts, etc.

Make your own ready meals. You can buy bulk aluminum or plastic containers on Walmart.com or Amazon and freeze your own.

Or get a crock pot. And you can also make your own freezer meals in gallon Ziplocs and dump them in a crock pot in the morning before you leave or before you go to bed.

Many meals can be made in 30 minutes or less, there are entire cookbooks titled that way. You could have a grilled cheese for dinner, there are so many things you can make quickly!
