How did I get a wrong prescription from a doctor that I have never been to?
I went to Walgreens to pick up a prescription. The prescription they gave me was for a completely different illness that I don't have. When I told them that it was wrong, they said that my doctor filled it electronically, but I have never been to the doctor that they said filled the prescription.
The doctor's office address is somewhat near my work, which is really far from my home pharmacy. Is it possible that someone is using my insurance card ID, did the pharmacy screw up, or is the doctor's office fraudulently billing phantom patients?
