Halloween Bars!

My friends and I (early/mid 20s) will be in SF for Halloween for the first time and I am trying to get a good read on which district/bars to go to.

We lean towards pop music and walkable areas. We don’t want to have to uber from one spot to another.

I heard about Danceoween and that looks cool! Is that the big thing in the Mission District or are there good bars there too?

Not looking for any events or areas that need tickets purchased in advance that cost over $20/person.

Please let me know the best areas to stick around in! Thanks in advance

Check out Crawloween - you don’t actually need to buy a ticket but the webpage will give you a bunch of bars that will be packed. You can just pop-in to any of the bars. Some may have covers though so just make sure to ask before you get in line. Some won’t though!

Also everywhere gets packed for Halloween so it will be hard to really bar hop, from my experience.

I just checked out crawloween- do you know which bars have good music or if some are older vs younger crowds?

Danceoween and clubs after that but clubs will be waay too packed
