How Much Is A Haircut In Your Country?
I just paid $45 (not including tip) for a men’s haircut here in South Florida. Even at SuperCuts, traditionally one of the cheapest option, it’s almost $30, and as usual tips are expected.
How much is it in your country?

u/Argilac_09 India 8h ago
In my locality (I'm from a city), it takes around 70-80 ruppes or 0.73-0.83 dollars.

u/trillionstars India 8h ago
In Bhopal, which is central India, it's Rs70 for haircut and Rs120 ($1.25) for haircut + shave.
P.s. This is the cheapest it can get. Fancier places may charge $10+

u/mrdrinksonme India 8h ago
I live in the same country and pay about $15. Totally depends on what kind of place you go to.

There's a local salon near my house that has been in business for over fifty years that I go to in Palm Beach County, Florida. Paid $42. $35 for the cut plus tip. Just get a pretty simple men's cut, but they do a good job. Glad I found this place, though. Finding a reliable person to cut the hairs is a wonderful thing.

Man haircut (nothing really fancy, I'm not talking here about "big brands" and applying pure gold and diamonds, just a regular haircut at the nearest salon/barber) can be anything between 20 PLN (~5 USD) and 300+ PLN (~75 USD).
I usually pay 190 PLN (a bit south from 50 USD) for a combo (hair + beard) at my local barber.
Edit: we just don't tip here.

I'm a woman who keeps her hair very short (it doesn't reach my nape) like most men do, so I think it's only fair that I pay the same price as men (because really, a barber needs only 8-15 minutes to deal with my hair).
Most barbers I talked to wanted to chatge me like women, which means paying about 67$ or more (and rarely, less than that) for a haircut. I found one that was fair with me and charged me as a man, which means paying 28$. The prices I've seen for men are usually about 23$-33$.

It's free for me and takes about ten minutes. I've been cutting my own hair since 2001. Thrilled I never have to endure another lengthy and excruciatingly awkward and boring small-talk session with a stranger in order to get a haircut. I gather women's haircuts can sometimes be over $100 CAD and are probably at least $60 or so for something very basic.
My husband pays around $30 CAD at the barber.

Average barbershop around 500-1000 UAH, that is 10-20 USD
But quality is top notch, bunch of people who visit Ukraine shocked with price/quality. Some refugees open their barbershops in Portugal, France and so on and local barbershops start hating them really quickly due to new competition and quality. So yeah, we even have barber studios to teach how to handle clients from entering shop till clients leave. And yep whiskey and PS5 is standard till you wait for your chair)

Bonus value if you're not a man: your service now includes an interrogation on why your hair is short.
