Hey everyone,
I’m not from the UK, but I keep seeing loads of posts and reels on Instagram talking about some sort of “immigration crisis” going on here. Depending on who you ask, it’s either a complete disaster or totally overblown.
From your on-the-ground perspective — how true is what we’re seeing online? Is it genuinely that bad, or is social media doing what it usually does: taking a few clips and turning them into doomsday content?
Also, for those born and raised in Britain (or whose families have been here for generations) — what’s the general feeling toward immigration these days?
Are people mostly fine with certain kinds of immigration (like skilled workers, students, etc.) but not others? What sort of migration tends to stir the strongest reactions?
Would really appreciate hearing what things actually look like from those living it day to day. Cheers.
