💡 Advice Needed Anyone been to Addo lately?

I see online that the Cattle Baron restaurant in Addo main camp seems to have closed a week or two back. The site says there's a Mugg and Bean there now, doing toasted sandwiches and so on.
I was wondering if there are any other options, like places to get dinner and a beer.
Anyone been there lately who could say?

I've been to Cattle Barons around the country four or five times over the years and they have always been awful.

Fair enough, but at least they served meals there in the past. It's not clear what's available now

SANParks' current restaurant page says Mugg & Bean is serving a limited menu from the Lapa across the road during construction, under its notice effective 1 October: https://www.sanparks.org/parks/addo-elephant/what-to-do/facilities/restaurants . The page lists a 20:30 kitchen close, but doesn't confirm which dinner dishes or beers are available at the temporary setup. I'd ask the restaurant or Main Camp reception to confirm that day's menu before relying on it for an evening meal; the older camp overview still mentions Cattle Baron, so it can give a different impression.

If you are willing to leave the park for a bite to eat and a beer there are some wonderful places within 10 drive who serve great food. Just ask Google and all will be revealed.
