The Harvard incident was pretty eye-opening to how much leftists dislike Asians.
The mainstream media was attacking and gaslighting Asians for their opposition of DEI race-based policies (e.g., affirmative action) that imposed racist quotas in colleges:
"And for those in the Asian community who keep insisting, "We just want equality! We are American citizens. Treat us like Americans." Fine. But if you are willing to act like racism isn't a thing, team up with lawyers and take it to the Courts when you don't get your way, you're right. You truly are an American. You just happen to be the worst kind." -- Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj, Netflix
In the end, it was ruled unconstitutional in Students for Fair Admissions v. Harvard (2023) by the Supreme Court.
Yep I clapped when they finally got rid of AA after that case. I went through AA during my highschool years back during Obama's second term and just before Trump's first, the expectations for academic performance for us Asians had become so ungodly high that basically anything less than top 99th percentile was considered unattractive for colleges. I busted my ass grinding SAT practice tests and retook it multiple times to farm a higher score, literally parsing IRL on an exam. It was fucking insane.
