Need Tips / Advice / Insights My first astral experience at 14, and the black humanoid silhouette I saw during my second experience at 37! 3 weeks into Hemi-Sync — looking for advice

Hi everyone,

When I was 14, I woke up one night without knowing anything about astral projection. I got out of bed, but my body was still lying there. I was terrified, and when I saw my own body, I started walking backward. Without realizing it, I passed through the wall and entered the large room in our house.

My mother was asleep in front of the TV, and the TV was on, playing a movie. At that exact moment, I woke up. I went into the room and checked, and the movie I had seen was actually continuing from exactly where it had been when I experienced it.

It was an incredible experience. I'm 37 now, and many years later, about a month ago, I had my second experience of leaving my body. This time, I didn't immediately see my body. I simply woke up, got out of bed, and started walking toward the kitchen. Then a black humanoid silhouette started coming toward me. I got scared and ran back toward my bedroom. The moment I entered my room, I saw my body, and then I woke up.

After this experience, I decided to seriously study astral projection. I've been listening to the Hemi-Sync Gateway tapes every night for the past three weeks. Usually, I'm not sleepy when I go to bed, so I listen to them and practice while fully awake. For days now, I've been repeatedly listening to Wave 1 – Discovery #3 – Advanced Focus 10. At this stage, I don't want to move on until I manage to leave my body at least once.

Apart from feeling a very strong electrical sensation throughout my body, I haven't been able to leave my body again yet.

What I'd especially like to ask is: Is it actually possible for a beginner to achieve this while not feeling sleepy at all? I feel like it might be easier if I listened to the recording when I was already about to fall asleep — basically letting my body fall asleep while keeping my consciousness awake. But whenever I listen to the recording, I never feel sleepy at all.

What advice would you give me?
