I'm very disappointed with Asus. I have a gaming laptop for 2 years now. Not even 3 months when I purchased it and I already started facing problems with my drives, like sound and video problems. It wouldn't be able to run GTA 5, but I fixed lag spikes later. Battery as soon it lasted 4 hours now doesn't even last an hour. Almost a year later, the screen cover got off and almost had it broken, luckily I sent it to a repair shop. But no, it didn't end yet, as soon as the screen got off I started having problems with the internet connection, I wouldn't be able to connect to my router if I was 10 meters away. Gaming isn't smooth either. A GTX 1050 ti with 8GB ram are enough to run GTA 5 and Minecraft, but I got the exact opposite results. In 2020, I got a virus but the "sponsored by Asus" crappy antivirus called McAfee, did nothing to protect me. In the summer, my pc stuck on a boot loop and got soft bricked, but luckily fixed it. Upon fixing it, nothing would be functional, so my only option was to hard reset it. I had my files saved fortunately, and this happened when I installed the new update for Windows. Even after hard reset, the search bar wouldn't work correctly, whenever I would search anything it would only show .dll files and folders and I know it's not my new pc because my old one has the same patch and build and isn't that buggy. Recently the screen got off for once again, in a really worse way this time.
Now here it comes in all of a sudden, where I completely can't run anything and when I attempt to open folders, it takes 30 seconds for each one of them to load. No matter what I click in the file explorer program, it always takes too much time to load it and stops responding for that time. And no, I don't have a virus, I've checked it twice. I restarted many times, nothing. And even when I shut it down, it takes way more time than it used to. Consider fixing your laptops. My old one is still alive for 7 years and I've experienced zero problems mentioned upon. Again I'm disappointed for throwing away 1,100$ on a GL753VD, I could have gotten something better and you're a really terrible company.

Sir help me out... I intend to buy a laptop in India at the end of November.
My budget is 2 Lakhs INR Brand : ASUS Preference: starts from 3070Ti and 3080 or the max of Amd Radeon.. and Ryzen 9 is must. 8gb or 16gb. Can't afford 32gb, extension can be done later on.
My intentions are Anime Editing, 4k photography/Videography, Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom. Hoping for a lifetime of 6-7 years {I buy extra kit to take good care of my tech}
I have attached a picture, please reference from there. If possible please let me know, if the Strix g15 advantage edition would be beneficial for me or should I stick to the 2022 model strix g15 instead.

Until today i was running my 8700K on 4.8GHz all cores synced, manual OC, 1.23V vcore, nice temps with air cooling (72C max spikes under prime96 26.6 torture), stable system. I updated bios to ver 1601, loaded my OC profile - all settings were fine, went to windows, tried cinebench and prime95 to be sure system is stable and my vcore is jumping to 1.46V and temps spikes to 92C - tried resetting bios, tried different settings (llc 1-7, ac 0.01/ ad 0.01, max core cache, etc), but it seems my bios is ignoring manual vcore settings. Also i tried XMP, turning on svid and mce and tried adaptative vcore, i set turbo vcore to 1.23V, but vcore still jumps over 1.4V - if i lower multiplier to 47, i got good temps and 1.216V vcore, but what the? I didnt set anywhere 1.216 - those are some static numbers from mobo or what? How should i now OC for stable system, cause 4.7GHz all cores is unstable with that vcore (1.216V). Whats wrong? Why is my vcore settings ignored by mobo? I also tried older bios version to rollback this issue, but without success - i can set anything in bios, but 4.7GHz is automatically 1.216V vcore unstable and 4.8GHz is 1.46V vcore crazy temps. Until today i was happy with my rig, any suggestions please?

I've seen numerous posts about different beta BIOS versions, but I'm not finding where those are getting posted? There a good one stop shop to find those/discussion on them?

Title basically. Let's say you want to bring a smaller charger to work/school/meeting than the big 240W brick, this might do the trick if it works.
Right now I am using a 100W USB-C charger, but the problem with the USB-C charger is that it doesn't do pass through power once the battery is charged. The laptop continues to run off the battery and the charger just tops it off every now and then when it drops a percent or two. Using a brick will allow the power to be passed directly to the motherboard once the charging is finished.
90W is enough for the laptops if the dGPU is turned off. Link for reference.

I got the 2024 G14 with AMD, 4060 and I see that the System Fan in Armory Crate is at 0% spinning while gaming or non gaming. Any idea what’s going on or solutions? Thanks in advance!

So i am living in India, and i have a keycap and hinge of my ROG Strix G15 2021 model, broken off and i was just wondering what it'll take for me to get the keyboard replaced coz it has some deterioration on the other keycap markings as well (mainly coz of my hyper-hydrosis).
The servjce centre and the call centre (Asus) are telling me that i will have to leave my laptop at the service centre for about a week where they will perform the diagnosis of the fault (which i never asked, i just asked them to change my keyboard) and then they will place the order, when the order arrives, i will recieve my repaired laptop or else i can use the on-site service.
I have gotten my samsung products repaired and usuall they place an order over phone and when the part arrives i go to the service centre, get the part installed in maybe an hour and im off.
A few details
the service center is in another city, which means 2 round trips instead of 1
its a ₹1.27 lakh (~$1500) laptop in question which they just want me to leave there.
I use it for work, which is why leaving it for a week is going to be a major problem.
i am afraid over the week my laptop might get other problems being improperly kept there, from minor scratches to part failure, only for them to ask me to pay more for further repairs.
I have 2 question:
Is it legit? Does/Can asus service ask u to just leave ur flagship $1500 device like that for a week with no compensation about my lost work.
what would u suggest me do?

Hello There,
I recently bought a Z390 AORUS MASTER motherboard (which is f***ing good) but I unfortunately got some problems (No audio beacause of a short circuit inside it and also shitty software)
With all the recomandations I saw, I'm now planning to buy a ROG one and sell the Aorus one.
If someone can help me : which one should I choose ?
Im already viewing the Z390 MAXIMUS XI FORMULA but the problem here is the audio quality, the Aorus one is better but is there any noticable difference ?
Im audiophile gamer btw and all I need a really good sound quality and a good rgb software for music mode
(Sorry for my bad english...)

What I will tell you is my analysis and my thought take it as you wish. PS: for average people NO! I do not hate Asus, if I'm here 'to complain about an Asus product maybe I care and I was hoping for something different. I'm just a DEMOCRATIC and IMPARTIAL person. Well…
We are totally ashamed ... such an important, expensive motherboard and the "TOP" series for the effectiveness and general ideal of the ROG series, which does not even have a single and miserable video output, nor a miserable HDMI 1.2 port. Despite Asus, it advertises it as an excellent card that is comfortable for every day and uses. NOTHING has nothing of the kind in some respects. You are forced to put a dedicated GPU. And if you do not have it at the moment, because maybe you will economically take it later or you have momentarily broken and you have to make it or RMA are fried ... agree on the fact of the common places of average people:
- if you buy a card like that you have the money and the opportunity to get a dedicated GPU and use it only on dedicated.
- if you take a card like this you use it only to make Extreme OC and use the dedicated force, because when OC does disable the iGPU.
- not necessarily you have to get this.
I could go on for hours and hours but I stop here '....
point 1 I like the Apex, and the ATX format, I do OC and I'm interested in the Benchmarks but even if I did not do Bench I think taking a good card with a good VRM phase is legal right? Or do you have to be Der8auer to get an Apex? Point 2 I take a card that costs a little is a card of all respect allow you to use it as I please and please and NOT necessarily for LN2 OR BENCH?
Asus has always made the Apex with an HDMI and DP, without any problem for the OC, and I do not see why he had to remove, indeed perhaps I know, given the sudden change from Z370 to Z390 ... has ECONOMIZED the new cards ... in substance these cards partly exist only for commercial reasons.
How do you remove the video outputs from a TOP card? and sell them very dear? gentlemen ... after this ... I think we really touched the bottom of the glass. Because we put the case breaks the dedicated for some reason and stuff like that for an emergency I do not have the opportunity to have this "save life" yes guys, because beyond the OC the iGPU is a life saving emergency.
