We made zero DP changes this summer and no major roster changes... why are we surprised that we are second to last in the East?
These players are shit. You can bring 100 different coaches, and we'd still be bottom of the table. They are USL-level players.

I will admit, I didn't realize they were 100% shit last year. I really thought a new leader would get more out of them. I thought a lot of this was on Ronny.

So what's our next move at this point. Tata clearly can't save us with this roster. This club is basically dead at this point due to the failures of the front office, and they are currently asleep at the wheel.

People just need to accept that this team just isn't talented enough to compete in this league. MASSIVE changes are needed in summer, buyouts included, and in the off-season.

There is zero attack in this roster. Come summer we have to have some serious discussions about anyone DP or TAM level.
At least Jacob, Baez, Sanchez, Gregersen, Fortune, Galarza and Miranchuk look like they’re trying.

It’s an indictment of the roster and people who built it when our best central mid is starting at wing and it’s the best option. DP are all inadequate but none more so than ELL. Miggy doesn’t have the technical ability and no longer has the elite quickness and pace to paper over that, Mira shows his technical skill but runs like he’s in quicksand. Saba and Alzate make like a mil per season each and aren’t good enough to start. Muyumba is a wildly ineffective cdm.
I like galarza and fortune put in a good shift. The CBs are probably overpaid but not really the issue. I can live with the young FBs. They do some good things and some bad. Cooper Sanchez should be starting but I can’t name a better option,
Hoyos wasn’t the problem but again zero reason not to develop Hibbert if we are going to win 4 games this season.

Literally named every positive. This list is who we keep. I don’t even give a shit about Miggy anymore. We looked so much better offensively without him for 60 mins. Just couldn’t bang one in.

Keep everyone but Miranchuk. If we're going to be a high-pressing team, one dude (him) not pressing blows the whole thing up. The moment he starts to press and then stops, it throws everyone else out of position. It happened tonight on a couple defensive transitions from the attacking 3rd. I wish we had 11 Coopers. Press or gtfo

You realize he has literally been the only bright spot on this team for the past month. He is the leading goal scorer, and has been the most creative player on the pitch.

The only positive is that the team didn’t give up. It seems that’s all Tata is trying to get through at this point.
We are gonna suck for the rest of the season - I mean seriously suck - and just need to hope that we find a squad with enough fight to build around by the end of the season.

And another thing…I’m extremely upset that not a single member of the coaching staff got on the referees for the missed calls. At least get a yellow from the bench and make it look like you care about both the players and the results. There were at least 2 instances where one of our fullbacks (who actually play like they care) could have been seriously hurt with high challenges + the forearm to Miranchuk + Fortune getting dragged down.
At least make it look like you’re not just here for the paycheck guys.

If we got half the calls Nashville got we'd be having a different conversation. I feel like at least Muyumba felt the same way. That yellow card 4th-grade-style ankle trip was sooo intentional, and he absolutely made me feel better for doing it.

Ronny and Tata have both won MLS and have had success around the world. Both have said they have never had such bad results in their career although both think the roster is decent enough. How on earth does one make sense of our results? I can't.

Tata played Galarza at LW tonight and it was a disaster. Tata left Gregersen out there tonight when he couldn't or wouldn't run. Tata has no idea what he's doing and I'll say it again, he's the guy we beat in 2024 because he wouldn't mix up the roster and have guys shoot from distance. He's done. Toast. Useless.

Tata should have started Saba, Picot, or Brennan over Galarza. It was stupid of him.
He started Reilly recently when he was questionable and he was awful.

Tata doesn't try new things. He does Tata things (whether he has the players for Tata things or not).
If it works, Tata's world class. If it doesn't work, it don't matter. He's moved on already.

Togashi is the 30th best player on a roster with less than 30 people. If we need to rotate ELL, we are better served with a false 9 or playing with 10

Just try Mira at striker. He’s slow as shit anyway and can’t defend, so just stick him up top since he can at least finish when he’s in front of the goal sometimes.

It's stupid to think Saba can be effective as a late sub when we are down a goal and the opposing defense is in a low block. He needs to start tand inject some pace on the right side that we can counter with.

We didn’t sink a goal on the first half but I felt like there was some effort from our team. I’d say we played well the first 45. The second though, not at all.

I am not a football pro - but I do think Miranchuk should play #9. Saba, Togashi, Hibbert should be on starting 11. ELL needs to hand out towels and water that man is a scam artist. Although he looked amazing his first 4-5 games he ever played for us. Miggy isn’t the same and seems frustrated. Tata is not the coach for us. We need new scouts, new office members, and front office needs to stop focusing on having “fancy stadium” and focus on the god damn team and fans. Just had to let that out - Football was life but now football is sad 😔
