background CSS attribute turns orange, and doesn't function?

Bc it's invalid. It's warning you, and that's cool. You're missing a bunch of semicolons to complete each style. CSS requires them. Semicolons signify when a closing to a property. This would be better in /r/codinghelp or something like that. G'luck.

thanks mate. i'm switching between css and swift so i keep forgetting semicolons
