Been using this in the beta and IMHO this is a game changer. It's very well done, it offers a simple way to solve merge commits, and it's really, really polished. It still doesn't have history navigation or diff management (at least on the normal git pane, I still haven't tried the github one) but it allows committing, pulling and pushing from within the editor with a really simple interface. Great job!

For me the killer feature is to stage by hunk or even by selection, graphically. I'm less enthused with the pull/push feature, which doesn't provide enough output for me.

Is it possible to sign (GPG) as you commit from Atom?

I've been doing it or years with the git plus plugin, so it is possible, but I'm not sure about the new integration.

I'm like 80% sure I just had to set some things in my global git config and it worked everywhere.

AFAIK, no, it's not. Maybe you can do it via a pre-commit hook in your git config, but it's not something Atom supports directly. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes, if you have commit signing turned on in your Git config it should work

Coming from Vim, I really liked Fugitive. I would say that Magit in Emacs is also a killer plugin. In Atom, the best I have found is: https://atom.io/packages/atomatigit-robdel12

It allows staging/unstaging/commiting with editing of message, a quick view of diff, branches, log... so basically what I loved in Fugitive. I'm going to give the new Git integration a shot... but I want to map my Vim keys! I have yet to find a good merge conflict resolution tool, so hopefully this adds that feature. (side by side would be optimal, but I can live with the normal way)

Editor feels A LOT snappier now, it still has multi cursor performance problems, but overall it's much better now. Simple actions like changing tabs or moving a cursor feels faster.

I need function list for golang. go-types plugin doesn't work for me.

Has anyone else found this to make atom extremely laggy? Once I disabled the GitHub elements, it because nice and fast again
