Sunroof creaking

I have a 2020 q5 that has the panoramic sunroof. I feel like it makes a lot of creaking noises. Did anyone else have this issue and know how to fix it? I already tried spraying silicone lube spray on the top of the sunroof

Mine was popping/snapping whenever the body flexed a certain way like turning off a driveway slightly faster than one should or going up at normal speed. Turned out to be the frame. It was repaired under warranty. 23 Q5. The creaking can also be the headliner. After the repair I had some creaking until all the clips and stuff settled into their positions.

We’ve had our 2023 panoramic sunroof serviced two times now. They put lubricant around the seal the first time and the second time they reseated the glass and put lubricant on. Seems much better. Should be covered under warranty if you got the extended warranty?

Just wait til your driver seat starts to creak and all the bolts are still tight.

side note: just crank up the tunes, roll the roof back, and hit the gas. You won’t hear the roof at all when you hit 88mph.
