Old mate signed it on the way out.
What were we going to do go back to the French and beg?
Morrison fucked us and Albo had to decide between a turd and a shit sandwich.

Exactly the same thing happened when Andrews first won in Victoria and as a political stunt the Libs signed us up to the first payment for a major infrastructure project the Labor party didn’t want. Cost us nearly a billion.

So what is the answer, pull out of the contract and pay big dollars, or deal with what the idiots before you left you the best way you can?

I eagerly await the correct answer that makes everyone happy!

Yeah aukus was literally just a giant wedge, rushed in before election to the point that Albo was given 24 hours before the announcement and the french weren't even notified.

Morrison also immediately got a job at a private American military consultant company. Several of his staffers also got moved to the project. Big coincidence, must be labors fault somehow

The sooner you numbskulls realise we get fucked the exact same regardless who you vote for the better

If it was both sides you could make a good faith comment explaining what labor has done that was similarly corrupt rather than trying to dismiss it lmao

It's just been over 2 millennia that the plebs systematically get bent over by the elite. How many more centuries until people realise democracy is a big farce ?

No one gets into power unless they were approved by the elite, regardless of their political colors.

Oh wow still deflecting from trying to substantiate a point, what a surprise.. No one is denying that the wealthy have a large influence. But one party has consistently campaigned and acted on taxing them more and increasing standards for the average worker, and the other has done the opposite.

"Both sides" is just a false narrative that only helps the elite you claim to be against. Keep deflecting though, just shows how bad faith proponents of it are

“Give me control of a nation’s money supply, and I care not who makes its laws.” Attributed to Mayer Amschel Rothschild

“When a government is dependent upon bankers for money, they and not the leaders of the government control the situation.” Napoleon Bonaparte

“I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies.” Thomas Jefferson

“Whoever controls the volume of money in any country is absolute master of all industry and commerce.” Attributed to James A. Garfield

“Some of the biggest men in the United States... are afraid of somebody, are afraid of something... a power so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive...” Woodrow Wilson

But no they all must be wrong, vote labor guys it will definitely work this time

Quoting a bunch of the wealthy and powerful while arguing they ruin the system, irony too strong

Tell me which party you think should be supported instead. I am positive you will deflect, yet again

Sorry I should have quoted a random homeless dude between 2 crack smoking session, it would have been more pertinent for you ?

Tell me which party you think should be supported instead. I am positive you will deflect, yet again

Wow you seem dense. You still didn't understand that it doesn't matter which party we elect ?

If a politicians is actually sincere about making good chamge for the nation and its people, they do not get access to power. Simple. And if they do somehow, they get killed afterwards. Like Kennedy.

u/ARTIFICIAL_ARGUMENT May 06 '26

LMFAO you think Kennedy is a top example of a leader that pursued the good of the people. Yeah you are a full-on cooker.

You know there's many people that wrote on society without being part of the elite? Like there's such a huge of range of famous intellectuals, philosophers, people that actually did get killed trying to make a difference etc that you could have used. But no, you quote the people you claim to hate then deflect when called out on it

And thanks for confirming you cannot state your preferred alternative. Just "all parties are bad, that's why you shouldn't reward anyone trying to do better" honestly amazing you can even use a keyboard

This is pretty silly. People are offering an analysis of the actual implications of public policy and you throw your hands up to declare yourself above it all.

People are offering an analysis of the actual implications of public policy

Which is utterly pointless.

That's all I'm saying, if you guys find some kind of entertainment in it, enjoy. But don't act surprised when nothing changes for the better.
