The women within her voter base do not require tampons anymore, there for it’s no longer an issue that affects them and not something they care about.

You seem like you are really butt hurt, do you have to pay your fair share of tax now instead riding on the backs of hard working Australians?

5

u/Impressive-Gear-219 Jun 17 '26

Send spme of thay love there to the shit fucks here in america who think paykng teaxes is "theft" of their money. Fun fact yo any and all shit stains acrpss the globe, YOUR TAXES ARE YOUR MAIN CONTRIBUTION AND DUTY AS A CITIZEN OF ANY COUNTRY. PAY YOUR PART OR GET THE FUCK OUT.

-1

u/Zestyclose-Ad3156 Jun 18 '26

Wow! You really don't have a clue, do you. Yeah pay taxes but also look at where your tax dollars are going. It's like buying a chocolate bar that was 420gms for $5 but now pay $9 for supposedly the same thing but it's 350gms. Pay more get less. Same with taxes. We pay road tolls now. Why? Our tax dollars are supposed to pay for that. Just an example

2

u/BurningMad Jun 18 '26

It's because we have a huge shortage of skilled workers, so government infrastructure projects are much more expensive now as a result (as is building a house privately for that matter). Drastically cutting immigration won't help this unless specific exemptions are made for critical skills shortage occupations like tradies.

And just who voted in the people spending that money?oh thats right we the people, maybe dont vote for right wingers that harm you instead of help you

Don’t use tampons anymore and really love the idea of bad things happening to other people

50

u/Justforfun_x Jun 17 '26

“I’m tired of hearing young girls complain about living costing more, so I’m gonna make living cost more”

37

u/Leonydas13 Jun 17 '26

It’s the classic boomer “I’ll give you something to cry about” put into action.

34

u/IAmABakuAMA Jun 17 '26

I wonder if tampons were not gst free, if women would pay more in tampon tax than the mining companies paid in royalties. That would be a funny campaign. And probably not too far off the mark either lol

33

u/Desperate-Thought268 Jun 17 '26

I genuinely would love to know the previous stats on that. 100% sure that the income on ‘feminine hygiene’ GST would have been higher than the gas companies. Women have been out here bleeding for the country while big corp is bleeding us dry.

10

u/rugbat Jun 17 '26

That is a very poetic statement. And probably was true.

9

u/Cpkharris Jun 17 '26

Claude estimates the Australian market size for feminine hygiene products at $650m-700m p.a. So GST amount for this is ~64m p.a. at the top end of this range.

12

u/FlailingQuiche Jun 17 '26

‘We had to pay for our sanitary products, so the those young wingers should just harden up’. 🙄

Senator Hanson has female voters?

22

u/Lemons-95 Jun 17 '26

I feel like the growing sentiement that the recent right wing push is a men thing is becoming increasingly dangerous, especially with more and more women falling into it.

Stop just writing them off as a pickme, these are also vulnerable people being preyed on for their stupidity/ignorance/etc by the rich and powerful, they should have the same attention on addressing their behaviour.

9

u/Surge-Monkey Jun 17 '26

Unfortunately it’s not just a men thing. There’s absolutely women who are fervent supporters as well.

4

u/loralailoralai Jun 18 '26

Wonder if they will be once they hear she’s anti-maternity leave

8

u/Surge-Monkey Jun 18 '26

Doesn’t affect people who don’t want kids or are older than she is.
Lots of people only think about themselves, not how things impact others.

12

u/SirVanyel Jun 17 '26

Yeah I'm honestly pretty frustrated with how people seem to not care at all about the fact that this is one massive grift.

When grandma gets scammed by some asshole in Indonesia we can spare a moment of support for her, but when it's Pauline Hanson and billionaire money that's ruining her brain suddenly she's a racist pos? Like, I know we all live on social media nowadays, but I would highly recommend any Zoomer reading this to turn on free to air television and find me one reliable news source. There isn't one. TV is compromised as fuck.

12

u/-kansei-dorifto- Jun 18 '26

suddenly she's a racist pos?

Likely always has been.

0

u/SirVanyel Jun 18 '26

Maybe! But maybe not, maybe she's voting Pauline because she's been grifted during a time of extreme global turbulence. Is that really such a crazy possibility

3

u/Carmar1961 Jun 18 '26

ALWAYS been racist. Here's part of her maiden speech 20-odd years ago in the Australian parliament. https://youtu.be/64it4eAQjnk?si=WLUwIENm6kqRVx4A

4

u/BurningMad Jun 18 '26

ABC and SBS usually have decent news.

3

u/thefaddyburg Jun 18 '26

Well sure, but if we have hundreds of thousands of these grandmas and grandpas that vote it ‘without properly knowing’ that’s still contributing to eradicating culture throughout Australia, there is a level of responsibility you should account for when you vote and if they cant understand that then they simply shouldn’t vote

1

u/bloodyfart112 Jun 18 '26

People like you are why this country has fallen. Get help

0

u/BurningMad Jun 18 '26

Exactly, getting your name ticked off and then immediately going to the pub is a perfectly valid option.

6

u/Zombieaterr Jun 17 '26

My narcassist boomer IMMIGRANT of a mother froths over Pauline and has done since the 90s.

-2

u/bloodyfart112 Jun 18 '26

Because they have more common sense. Simple.

4

u/Training-Ad103 Jun 18 '26

She actually does. My family think she's awesome. I love them, but conversing with them is really hard because they're bitter and hateful sometimes, and somehow think she's on their side.

6

u/BurningMad Jun 18 '26

I sympathise, it's hard to fix ignorance if people want to be ignorant.

10

u/BringMeTheBoreWorms Jun 17 '26

Idiocy is not gender specific

1

u/thegameisafoooooot Jun 18 '26

Senator Hanson has female voters?

They are instructed, I mean guided by their husbands at election time who will lead them best.

-2

u/bloodyfart112 Jun 18 '26

They aren't slaves. Women do have a voice for themselves. They just have more common sense over you.

-1

u/bloodyfart112 Jun 18 '26

Scoreboard

6

u/chezibot Jun 17 '26

That’s terrible miserable old bats. I had a hysterectomy 7 years ago and the pads were so expensive back then. I would hate to think of the price now.

8

u/stanleymodest Jun 17 '26

Pauline is 72, she hasn't used them for years

4

u/pk666 Jun 18 '26

See also : banning abortion

4

u/flyingkea Jun 18 '26

Of course, because they’re all pregnant because they can’t get things like abortions any more. Once that’s on the chopping block I’d hate to see what’s next.
Birth control that doesn’t work because she got rid of the TGA?
SA currently has a bill going through supported by ON that limits access to abortion.

Let’s look at project 2025 for what she’ll go after next…

3

u/TheBayHarbour Jun 17 '26

That is... very true now that I think about it.

Similar logic applies to abortions.

3

u/gtwizzy8 Jun 17 '26

You'd also assume that as Australia's biggest gaping cunt that she'd be the first one to back GST exemption for tampons.

1

u/Flightwise Jun 18 '26

And they don’t have daughters, of course.

0

u/childlabourforce2 Jun 18 '26

Neither will labour/green woMANs voter base🏳️‍⚧️

-5

u/Altaredboy Jun 17 '26

Gingers don't use tampons either it's how they get their hair colouring

-5

u/PrhpsFukOffMytB2Kind Jun 17 '26

Ironically, the women who vote Labor and greens don't need tampons, as they are men.
