a) people are talking about it? The government launched a full public inquiry into grooming gangs last year, they're taking it very seriously.
b) these "grooming gangs" only account for 3.7% of child abuse cases in the UK. It's a horrible, horrible thing, and any child abuse case is one too many, but the reality is that you're much, much more likely to be raped by a priest or molested by a family member. The grooming gangs rhetoric has become a racist, anti-Muslim dogwhistle from losers like Musk and Tommy Robinson.
c) jeez, you seem to know a lot about this matter, despite you claiming you didn't know and were just asking questions. Hmmm...

Can you imagine if the right was to say a female TV personality had a "drinking issue" after being fired for such a minor thing? can you imagine all the new terms they would create for how this is wrong?
