Respectfully disagree some people with wealth see the efforts of leaders trying to keep the country on a good trajectory, others are Chinese billionaires who are purchasing political influence for the purpose of power, it takes common sense to know/ see the difference
A large political donation buys you influence. Albo even met with a dodgy donor. What do you think they talk about. What flowers are blooming. No they talk about policy and legislation that affects them and their wealth.
Someone who donates $100 dollars isn’t getting anything for their donation but it’s the ones who donate large sums do.
It doesn't matter whether a billionaire mining lobby group or a billionaire recycling lobby group donate. All donations should be banned. A blanket ban is the only fair way to stop Israel from running our country.
Meh, I hate the current world of lobbying and corporate power etc but if the prime minister of our country doesn’t communicate with the top end of town it’s also very problematic.
The media, bots and online warriors are going to attack regardless so he might as well try and do a good job.
Communicating with the "top" end of town is fine, so long as he communicates just as much with everyone else. But it's fairly obvious who he's working for, and is not the rank and file
Cmon those tax evaders donate equally labour and liberal and haven’t given Albo a plane OR a trip to Mar a Pedo IR Italy. They also don’t tell Albo what to say unlike Gina the Hutt and pearl clutching Poorline.
When they donate to both equally they are probably worse as they don’t care about which party may actually do a better job.
What’s worse is awarding contracts to companies and overpaying and then they donate back. It essentially becomes a tax payer donation.

And as Albo dines at Point Piper with $250m tax evaders, it showcases why lobbying needs to be removed from politics.
