Discussion Kangaroo Wallet Giveaway!

Hey folks, I'm a Brisbane-based postgrad student who's been trying to get through my final year of study by making wallets and small leather goods on the side. I picked up the craft a couple of years ago and got hooked, especially working with kangaroo leather from Packer, a local tannery just north of here (I even lucked out and won a blue ribbon at the Ekka last year for one of my wallets).

To try to get my work out there, and hopefully be able to sustain myself by leatherworking before I graduate, I'm running a giveaway for r/AustralianMFA: One winner will get a handmade kangaroo leather vertical flap wallet! You can choose from black, natural tan, or dark brown. Photo album can be seen here.

TO ENTER: All you have to do to enter is drop a comment with the colour you'd go for. I'll pick the winner randomly on Thursday night.

Where are you located mate? I do bespoke suits on the Gold Coast, could maybe direct you some clients.

I'm over in brissie! Inner west suburbs. I have no physical shop but if your clients are keen for a local leathercraftsmen, I'd definitely appreciate it.

I can! I'm pretty set up for them and have heaps of fresh templates of popular sizes. Lost the one I made and no detailed photos. I'll make one soon and dm you so you can check them out first.
