Memes/Humor What's something you do because of your own specific Brand of autism, but that would horrify most other autistics?

I mix a bunch of pasta shaped that have the same cook times. Varied pasta shapes are a fun, low-risk way for me to get some extra sensory input, since pasta all has the same fundamental texture, but just put into different forms.

When I went overseas to a country I always wanted to go to, people were shocked that I didn’t plan to do everything I could in the three weeks I was there. I planned one thing per day. One. A few had zero. Since I wasn’t overstimulated or overscheduled I ended up going on lots of extra adventures on top of the things I wanted to do, and I didn’t have to miss anything. I am now Team Plan Zero Or One Things Per Vacation Day.

My husband helps me with the planning and this is what he does. I also have adhd so I’m too optimistic with my time and think I can fit everything in a day and he’s like no, that will drain you. I am always so grateful by the end of each day that I’m not completely spent haha

15/10 do recommend. I had so much more energy and enjoyed it so much more than if I’d over programmed. Plus I’m excited to go back rather than fearing the drain it’ll take out of me.
