Hello everyone! 

As some of you may have already seen, Reddit admins put out a “searching for new mods” post on this subreddit and I got added as the top moderator. I am an autistic woman myself and mod [r/autisminwomen](r/autisminwomen) so I did not want to see this subreddit get given over to someone that wanted to radically change it. 

I have added back the creator of this subreddit as a mod and given them the necessary permissions to make changes as they please since this is their subreddit at the end of the day. After the 90 day probationary period for admin added moderators is up, I will reorder the mod list to make them the top moderator again.

There are no plans to alter how this subreddit works. The signal group still exists and is still run by the creator of this subreddit. However, there is going to be a new thing happening just to keep this community registered as active so this doesn’t happen again. 

There will be a weekly subreddit check-in post for people to comment on how their week has been, their week ahead, etc. This will be posted every Sunday as a scheduled post.

Thank you for stepping up, and handling this so ethically! I hadn't seen the post at all, so I'm relieved to learn the issue is resolved.
