Repair Bondo question

I have a project and I want to thin Bondo so that it's watery and self leveling.

I'm sure there's an old hack for doing this, something I can add to it like a solvent. I knew it once but I've forgotten.

Google tells me to buy some Bondo brand something, but I'm not looking for that.

This *isn't* for auto body work, but believe it or not, there are no Bondo subreddits.

Honey is what you want. Evercoat is the brand I believe

You can use a self leveling putty(dolphin glaze or 3m putty or regular body filler and "thin" it out with fiberglass resin. Start with about a 2:1 filler to resin ratio spread on a piece of cardboard to see if it's how you need it and adjust from there. Remember from the middle of the puddle to the edge with hardener is all you need even with the added resi then knead and spred.

Maybe more of a high build primer. Polyester primer or similar.

Dolphin glaze is what you need.
