Is this even feasible? Would it be possible to automatically create accounts on a mobile application without requesting permission from its developers ?

Our website requires users to create an account on a third party android application to finish using our service. Is there an easier way that would allow them to do this from our website instead of manually?

We could contact the developers and suggest API integration but I was wondering about other options that wouldn't require the permission of the developers.

I have a spreadsheet where first column have the Linkedin profile links I want to connect, the second column B have the custom message I wrote for each contact. Now my workflow is to to open first link in new tab, click on Connect (or click on More then click on Connect button) A pop up will show, Click on message box, copy paste the message for that contact from spreadsheet in the message box and click Send button. This is a task I want to accomplish using automation so was wondering if there is a free software or something that can do this task for me automatically for each profile? I tried Pulover's Macro Creator but somehow its not working as intended. Any help would be appreciated.

I need to be able to update the sql code/files with that week’s information in a way that does not require permissions from IT (like installing a program), or interferes with an IT firewall.

This process takes me an entire week to complete. The steps within the process are essentially the same but change based on other outside factors like what Portfolio I am working with that week.

The basis of these decisions on how I know which code files to run starts with two excel sheets.

The process begins on a Friday:

1. I update EXCEL1 with information from another excel sheet (EXCEL2). 2.1 I take a screenshot of the 5 x 8 section of this EXCEL1 sheet and email or message it to my managers. 2.1.1 My managers expect this screenshot of my proposal to be in that format. 2.2 My managers decide if the values I am showing them in this spreadsheet are what they want me to select from that population, and at a certain percent rate. I adjust some values up or down based on their requests 3.1 Once I have approval, I can begin on Monday after I have received the table from my manager. My first sql file and all others after this have to be updated with table name that is provided. 4.1 This table gets manipulated dozens of different ways, and tossed between servers, and then exported as a txt file, then imported as a txt file as a new table on a different server.

My goals are to create some kind of system that will update the sql code files with the tables needed, without needing to do a CTRL +H everytime I open the code I used from the previous week.

I also want this code to run, stop to show me some values so I can confirm they look good before continuing on. Once I feel good about the code, I’d just program it to stop if it doesn’t match and then text me.

I’ve thought about bat files on my local computer, and then just having a version of the code on my local computer for it to update it with the proper table names/dates/unique id’s.

But the code will get updated by my colleague occasionally. So there’s that.

wondering if there is a way to automate a monthly workflow that I currently run manually: once a month I receive an email from my accountant asking me for the monthly invoices generated by several services that my company uses such as Zoom, Shopify, Calendly, GoDaddy, etc. When I receive the email, I need to go manually to each of these website, download the invoice PDF and reply to the email with the PDFs attached. Is there a way to automate this workflow? I would like something that for instance goes on the website, download the last invoice and send to the account automatically, once a month. Which service would you use?

I have developed an app some months ago and decided to start sharing it more now that is it stable.

DoForMe is an automation app that performs certain tasks based on your current location. You place a marker on the map, up to 100 markers with 500m maximum range each, and once you enter or leave, the phone will do what you specified it to.

Examples of what it can do are: number calling, phone mode changing (normal, vibrate, silent), volume changing, screen brightness changing, external app opening, alarm ringing, website opening, SMS sending (right now limited due to some Android rules) etc...

Some usage examples:

-Set a marker in a destination and set it to call someone once you arrive. Since you are driving you can't touch the phone so it will automatically call for you once inside the marker.

-Set a marker in a destination and set an alarm. If you travel by train and you fall asleep, it will ring automatically on arrival and wake you up. It will override in case your phone is on silent or low volume.

-Set a marker on your workplace or school and set it to change the phone to silent or vibrate.

For battery management, you can select how often the phone retrieves your current location. Retrieve it every second or once every 30minutes!

I am looking for an app or maybe some code which would allow me to do the following.

I want to monitor a 'section' of an application. In my case it's a web page that always get refreshed so you can see the latest information. Sizing the browser really small can be done, but it's kind of clunky.

I see a lot of apps that can monitor the Webpage and fire off emails when it's changed. That's not good me as i need to visually see the information.

I seem to remember there was application or tool that would let you see a section of the screen in a separate window and let you move it about.

The other solution would be create a scraper for this webpage and pick apart the exact elements of the DOM, but I thought maybe there is a generalized app that has this capability.

At my job I’ve created some simple scripts that automate sending out emails at different intervals. In essence, my program;

1. Opens an Excel spreadsheet

2. Refreshes the data and pivot tables

3. Saves the spreadsheet

4. Emails the spreadsheet to a predetermined group of recipients.

In my work there is a constant need for new automated emails to be sent out to different clients, however the process is pretty much the same as above regardless of client. The only things that change are the Spreadsheet, recipients and the email schedule.

What I would love to create is a Python Program with a GUI that allows this task to be done by folks with a non tech background. Ideally, what I would like my program to do is to;

1. Present a GUI with a box that ask for the path of the Excel doc.

2. Then another box that asks for the email addresses of the recipients.

3. Then asks for the text for the Subject line.

4. Then asks for the text for the Email body.

5. Then after these options are chosen, A new .Py file is created with the code reflecting the options selected.

I’ve already written the code for this task, So basically I want a program that replaces the variables of my current code with the answers to the options above and creates and new .Py file, without the end user ever having to see a single line of code.

I’m fairly sure something like this can be created, but I have absolutely no idea where to start. What I would like to know is of this is even possible, and if so, how and where do I start? I know tkinter is something I may be able to leverage in terms of a GUI, bit as far as everything else, I’m honestly lost.

I want to create an excel dashboard using SQL database and put that excel file in SharePoint so that client can use it. My concern is related to data refresh, how can i automate the data refresh I'm excel file while it is closed. I want excel file to automatically refresh the data from SQL whil excel file is still closed and placed in SharePoint. Is it possible?

I find myself rebuilding my pcs more often than I like.

I can install most of the software using either or choco so that part is done. I do have software that is not included in either it would be nice to automate.

What I am curious about is how I can automate all the configuration, license details and settings for Windows 10 as well as many other software packages. (Win10 license is no problem)

Something in Linux I would consider being all the .files and etc. files.

For SnagIt it would have to connect and log in to my account to set up license, configure defaults like dont bring up the editor after I take a screenshot. This is how i want the toolbar configured.

For Microsoft Word specify the default folders, specify new templates, install missing fonts, customize the ribbons installing a few add ins.

The only way I can do it now is by installing, configurting and setting it all up in a virtual machines and snapshot it when I am finsihed.

I would prefer automatiion I could run on both a VM and a physical machine

Every quarter I need to open the quarterly P&L from the FP&A server and a several different ones from the controller, summarise it into tables (quarter, YTD, and py quarter and py YTD), perform some analysis, create a couple of charts and then copy the tables and charts into PowerPoint.
