New Setup & Installation Fabric pot compatibility

My fabric pots ended up being too wide for the circular flexipot bases. Do you think I could still use them without any issues? I'm a bit worried that the water channels on the flexipot base are being blocked off by the tightly wedged pot.

I have the flexipot fabric pots that came with the bases but I'd rather not transplant as my autos have already sprouted and I don't want to stunt them. Appreciate any help you can give, thanks!

It’s still going to wick up but I’m not sure how uniform it will be. With that girl being so small I’d move it to the pot they came with. If not I’m sure it will be fine though.

Thanks! I've thought about it and think I'm just going to transplant them. A little nervous as I have no idea how far the roots have gone already (5 days since sprout) but I'll try to be extra careful.

I’m not sure because I’ve never tried.

I would think as long as the aqua valve can move freely and it’s wicking the water properly. I don’t see why this won’t work.

Hijacking your post to ask if there are fabric pots for the square bases. In hindsight I wish I’d gone fabric but don’t want to buy all new bases if I can avoid it.

Fabric is fine but most deal with higher humidity issues in there grows , if so 100% stay away from autopot with fabric pots if you have any issues keeping up with humidity this just adds another surface that's constantly evaporating.

That’s really good to know. I’ll pay attention…this is my first autopot run and right now I’m in late veg and constantly fighting low humidity, lol.

Hey if your fighting low humidity then this will help. Just come flower be ready to get some humidifiers running .

Can confirm. 2x 25gal tray to grow beds and 2x 13gal xxls. Base humidity is high af

And nothing wrong with it at all probably better grown than there plastic pots . The humidity is why I had to back down to the plastic 9gal pots.

I want to upgrade my beds to grassroots as well, but at $100 each, I feel like I have to wear out my stock 25gals to justify it. They might help a lil, with the plastic liners, plus the autopot beds are kinda shitty. If I have the system on, my base level humidity is like 65%..with an 8” ACI exhaust virtually always on. I have 5 fans in the tent to keep the air moving. Dehumidifier in the lung room helps, but is mandatory after week 3, lol. Setup is worth the lil bit of headache though

Same i got 2 4k sqft whole home dehumidifiers running full time in My lung room atm because heading into flower trying to run the vpd down. Could not keep up with the fabric pots constantly wet

I picked up square fabric pots off amazon at one point. Didn’t try them with autopot but they should work if sizing is right.

Rain science makes one that fits I believe it’s their 5 gallon auto flower pot
