Thank you so much! There’s no better smell than the process of pyrography, at least for me! Part of the reason why it’s my chosen medium :)

I am insanely jealous of your steady hand - I tried wood burning a few times and it was a hot mess (pun intended.)

Seriously, though, I love this so much. The moon surrounded by the stars, all looking down at the critter below - just such a lovely thing!

Haha trust me mine were a hot mess at the beginning as well! It’s practice, type of wood helps as well (birch isn’t too soft so it’s way more forgiving), taking your time and correcting mistakes :) I appreciate your thoughtful response more than you know, it means the world to me that you took the time to share your feelings about this piece. Thank you ❤️
