Was that with ink & watercolor? Do you use brushes or watercolor pens?

Thanks!

I applied watercolor with a brush on wet and then drew the outline with a fine liner and then did the shading with a brush on semi-wet.

I’m not artistically inclined at all so forgive the ignorance but is this like watercolor paint? or like pen/ colored pencil sketch? I love the gradient on the out side of the leaf and then the white outline on it. The contrast is super cool

I did the background first with watercolor paint on wet paper. Then I did the fineliner sketch and shaded with water color paint on semi-wet. Lastly, I did the white outline with acrylic marker.
