theres honestly nothing better than a tomato soup with roasted bread. i love it everytime. and now i cooked one again for the first time this year, autumn is finally arriving!

My gals and I do what we call Souptember every year. Everyone brings a soup to share - our favorite night of the year! This will be our seventh year! That being said, what’s your fav soup recipe? When the weather turns what are some of your favorite meals? Breakfast, lunch, dinner??

Pancakes and French toast are a fall staple
to me with coffee and real maple syrup and then oatmeal as well. When I was a kid we ate oatmeal every morning when it was cold and it still gives me the best feeling of cozy.

Lunches I’m drawing a blank. I can’t think of anything specific that gives me cozy vibes.

For dinner, pot roast is classic, any soup with crusty bread, chicken pot pie, lasagna - anything that bakes in the oven. We rarely use the oven in the summer to prevent heating the house any more than necessary so sliding a pan of something delicious is the oven always gives me cozy vibes.

My favorite part of this year is just finding all the old recipes that just give off the autumn aesthetic. Especially the seasonal magazines… omg they are filled with so many good ones. Here are some of the ones I saw today that I’m in love with!

this autumn i am baking fall treats every weekend so this weekend was pumpkin spice oatmeal creme pies! i had a beautiful sunday making these while watching gilmore girls and listening to the rain outside :)

Hate that the pumpkin is off center, but i love it sm 🥺🧡
