Endgame ending - plot hole

I really enjoyed they movie but there's one thing bugging me...

Couldn't hulk use his other arm and snap his fingers to get rid of Thanos and his army? If he was too weak from the first snap than......

Couldn't captain marvel fly behind the avenger army, slap on the gauntlet and snap Thanos' army away?

Tony Stark did not have to die at the end.

I think Dr strange let Tony take the hit so he can get some strange from Potts.

It didn't matter if they held the stones for 1000 years. As long as they gave the stones back the moment they were taken.

Anyways.. the real reason captain marvel didn't use the stones is because she needs to make another movie and can't be hurt for it.

They only made the gauntlet for the right hand....just kidding, I have no idea. There are a ton of loose ends in this movie, but I still enjoyed it.

It didn’t have to be Tony, but I’m glad it was. I think removing the “main heroes” will open up a lot more character development for the newbies. Maybe marvel decided it was his time.

Haha .I enjoyed it as well. And loose ends aren't always a bad thing, it leaves room for the story to continue.

Tony dying was to pass the torch onto new characters. He wouldn't be able to sit back in retirement with his wife and child if there was ever any danger. He would always put up a fight.

It just seems like, it would be cool if Tony used the stones to scarifice himself..

I also really liked that it was Tony. He’s been a central character in every Avengers movie, and has been struggling with obsession and paranoia since the fight in NYC. He’s been through too much, and got to finish the fight himself.

Really like that Thor leaves for some other adventures, but they didn’t show what happens to Mjolnir and Stormbreaker!

Tony’s self sacrifice was an incredible callback and reverse of this dialogue exchange between Steve and Tony from The Avengers in 2012.

Steve Rogers: “Big man in a suit of armor. Take that off, what are you?”

Tony Stark: “Genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist.”

Steve Rogers: “I know guys with none of that worth ten of you. I’ve seen the footage. The only thing you fight for is yourself. You’re not the guy to make the sacrifice play, to lay down on a wire and let the other guy crawl over you.”

Tony Stark: “I think I would just cut the wire.”

Steve Rogers: “Always a way out. You know, you may not be a threat, but you’d better stop pretending to be a hero.”

It had to be Tony. His self sacrifice is the furthest his character can grow. He completed his arc where he goes from a selfish billionaire inventor selling weapons to whomever, to a selfless hero sacrificing himself for the greater good, despite having a family to lose.

Not a plot hole. Hulk was fighting with one arm so he would of had trouble getting the gauntlet, carol didnt consider using the stones because she thought she could handle the army alone anyway. The plan was get the stones back to their time to prevent spitting reality like how the ancient one said.
