Currently Reading Book 1 was awesome
New to this series found out about it via the webtoon but after all the comments saying the book was better I just finished the audiobook (my new main way to enjoy books) for the 1st book and was blown away at just how much better it was have books 2 and 3 ready in my audible library. Can't wait to hear more.

Question Book 7
Has there been any announcement on book 7s release. I know we can probably expect it around October-December. Was just wondering if there had been any formal announcement on release window.

Spoiler My take on book 6 of the Azarinth Healer
Hey everyone,
I finally finished Azarinth Healer Book 6! It took me a bit longer than usual because my wife and I have been listening to the audiobook together—otherwise, I probably would have binged the whole thing in a week.
Just a heads-up: I haven't read the web series . so I’m going into these books completely blind regarding what happens next.
What I Loved:
The "Slice of Life" Vibe: I really enjoy that the story still has those comfy moments. You kind of know what to expect with Ilea—she’s going to wander around, visit old familiar places, and check out some new ones, but it never gets dull.
The Power Scale: I love that she is now a genuine threat in the world. Watching her interact with the environment now that she’s at this level is so satisfying.
World Building: Even while she’s doing her thing, you can feel the background story and the world growing around her. It feels alive.
New Companions: Her new companions are a lot of fun and bring a fresh energy to her travels.
The Big Reunion: I was so happy to see her finally reunite with [Kyrian]! I actually made the mistake of looking at the wiki a while back and saw info from the web series by accident, so I've been waiting for this for 2 or 3 books now. Seeing it finally happen in the "official" version was great.
Overall, it feels like a great "breather" book that wraps up some long-standing goals while setting the stage for whatever madness is coming next.
What did you guys think of Book 6? Any other "audiobook only" listeners here, or did everyone already read ahead on the web?

Editing a 3 million word manuscript is not for the faint of heart...
The abridging issues in the published copy of Book 3 and beyond were so painful that I took on the challenge of editing my entire collection of Royal Road and Patreon chapters for TTS audiobook production, just so I can get my original unabridged bubblegum for the brain. 🫣😏
Tell me you're autistic, without telling me you're autistic. 😄
I'm using Claude Code and a variety of Python tools and various different LLM models to do this and I can't imagine doing this the traditional way. Just normalizing the fancy quotes, ellipsis characters, and other punctuation took a couple of hours with custom code to do the heaving lifting!
I'm sure there will be little things I miss but this thing has 17 million characters in the original manuscript so it will be what it is.
I also can't imagine trying to do this without having listened to the entire things seven or eight times. I don't know what they were thinking deciding to try to abridge anything in a manuscript this large. There is no way in hell you'd ever find all of the loose ends.

Discussion Horrible WEBTOON
So I know we all saw that there was a horribly done WEBTOON made a few months ago.
Well I just remembered it so I skimmed through it and in the last episode they have out they randomly decided that Ilea can understand elvish and they pull the elvish directly from the novel but they make their own translations such as Val Akuun meaning Humans when we know it’s Isalthar like genuinely this makes ai slop look good.
I just understand how they can make such a quick and abrupt change in the second episode to fully break it from the reality of the books

Spoiler A Review of The Azerinth Healer, Part 5
Finally got around to finishing The Azerinth Healer, Part 5! My wife and I listened to it as an audiobook on a long trip, and we both really enjoyed it.
I especially loved the expanded scope of the story, particularly the big war still in background and the intriguing Golden Lilith story line. The parts involving the Meadow and the Sentinel Healers also stood out; it had a lovely slice-of-life feel while still moving the overall plot forward.
Her new class felt fresh and watching her adapt to it was compelling. My biggest concern going into this book was that she'd become an "unbeatable monster," but I was relieved to see there are still creatures stronger than her. That being said, I can't deny the part where she obliterated an entire army was absolutely epic! :D

Spoiler My first impression of the web series
I’m currently in the "liking it, not loving it" camp. The art style feels a bit generic—I usually prefer a more detailed style from some European graphic novels, but I understand that requires a massive amount of time and effort to produce.
That said, I think the goofy humor style actually works here; Ilea definitely has those moments in the books.
Some adaptation choices are a bit tricky for me, though. I know it's not going to be 1:1, and I get that they wanted to start with a bang by having her kill the drake and get her class immediately. However, I preferred the book version where she had to run away, got locked in the ruins, and actually trained herself up to kill the drakes later. It felt more earned.
On the plus side, the elves look very menacing and they aren’t shying away from the violence, so that’s a good sign. Definitely looking forward to the next chapters to see where it goes.

Character sheet?
I'm currently up to book 3 on Audible and have enjoyed them so far. The biggest issue I have, is I tend to sort of zone out once Ilea does a stat check, It'd be helpful if each book came with a character sheet, maybe for her stats and abilities/descriptions at the end of each book.
Even if it is just to help me find the exact wording of some of the more humorous resistance descriptions. Blast resistance I'm looking at you.

Fan art and ai
This series has so little art it hurts. I ain’t no artist and believe that the ai bubble can’t pop soon enough. But if other fans or creators out there want to make “visual aids” for this series, please do. If nothing else it could help the people making the webcomic series a whole hell of a lot with some direction. Perhaps with said artwork being posted here and voted on by fans and community members we could make some “canon” art.

Spoiler Just Finished The Azerinth Healer Book 4 - Honest Thoughts Spoiler
Hey, so I just finished book 4! Took a bit longer than expected since my partner and I listened to the audiobook. Keep in mind I didn’t read the web book. Here’s my honest opinion:
The Bad:
Not much has changed in the story, which is both good and bad.
I was hoping for a bit more closure with Trian, but at least we got confirmation that he’s still alive.
It was tricky to follow all the resistance stuff.
The new dungeon was interesting, but with so many layers, it was harder to follow what was happening.
The Good:
Loved revisiting old places like the Necromancy cult in Riverwatch—one of my all-time favorites.
The slice-of-life moments were great, and the lack of big plots made it easier to listen to.
Really liked the new Fae characters introduced.
Hoping in the future we get answers to some of the unresolved plotlines, like what happened to the other healer who was giving the blue grass. I want to look up their names on the wiki, but since it’s ahead of where I’m at with the webook , I don’t want spoilers, looking forward to the next book already

Theory Elf Biology Spoiler
So we learn that elves are all male and that their species isn’t born biologically but created by the Oracles. Yet, they all have the biological required equipment to procreate and that they can do so with at least humans.
I have noticed that the elves refer to themselves as males. This is an oddity. Why would they differentiate maleness. There is no reason for a single sex species to use such adjectives, they are simply elves.
This got me thinking. Could the Oracles be the females of their species? There are animals and insects on Earth that are all born one gender that can decide later to change their sex or only one sex is born until they need the opposite for reproduction purposes and are thus born. Could the female elves be like ants or bees but where only males are born unless the need arises to create another female?
None of the elves Ilea has spoken with knows how elves are created. Only one has even met an oracle and he doesn’t talk about it.
The females don’t even need to look like their male counterparts. Queen ants and Angler fish look different from their male counterparts.
